Hi there Have you tried Bio Oil? It really is very good, you just rub it in every day - it is quite expensive ( not sure where you are in the UK it is around £10) but it lasts ages. I would certainly recommend it.

Hiya jacqui, Most of the ingredients in the Bio Oil have skin improvement qualities so if you can´t get the oil maybe you could buy the oils separate or at least two of them like Vitamin E and Calendula which is excellent for the skin in general. I also have a nasty scar on my knee but now I have accepted it and take no notice of it any more I let everyone see it and you can really see it as it forms like a wide cross shape. I fell on a broken Coca Cola bottle when I was quite small and it created a huge gash and filled my knee with very tiny bits of broken glass. But I know how you feel but I just let it be. You might try using leg make up if you really feel so badly about it. Or apply face make on with a bit of body cream and rub it over the area for when you go out that way it should not be expensive really.
