I do have friends that are like you say and i am also the same in return, but sometimes there are friends that lie to you aswell as you trust them only for them to let you down.I have learnt never to trust a friend no matter how long i have known them as in the past they have proven themselves to be back stabbers aswell as they discuss what is going on in my life to people that i do not know that well.

Hi bendan: I think there are a lot of definitions of friends but in general I think that friends are those people that love you and want to be with you. Friends make your life happier and care for you. It's not all about having the same points of view but sharing you thoughts and making a good combination you and your friend what makes tha you miss them. My apologies if this sounds trite but i always believe that a true test of friendship is when you can be totally honest with each other. Knowing that however much the truth hurts your friend will forgive the pain caused and listen to the words. We are hardest on these true friends and family because we know we can be and will be forgiven, and becase we expect them to do the same to us. friendship is a balancing act where each carries the burden.

i always wanted to know who my true friends are. but some times i guess i dont really have any because they either use me or cut me off because i dont want to be down with them. thats not me am my own person and if you dont like me for me then am moving on. thats what a real friend should be like, some i can trust and call on not someone who gonna use me and play me
