Today is mother's day... (at least in my time zone)
It's a time to reminisce the things our mothers have done for us and what we love about her.
What is the best thing about your mom?
And how do you celebrate Mother's day?
I'll start with my own answer...
The best thing about my mother is her supportive nature :)
I think she's the most supportive mother in the world.
She's my role model.
To celebrate mother's day, I usually give her gifts.
How about you?
But this year, I'm going to give her more than that :)
Something that is not tangible... ;)

The best thing about my mom is everything that she is. She is the best cook for me and I love her so much. It has been 6 weeks that I havent seen my mom and I am so excited to see her next week when my husband and I go home. I dont know how I would be able to repay her but I guess I would have to show her that we really love her, in any way we can.

...she never fails to give us the best advices ever. She is also very 'cruelly honest'. Though sometimes I get irritated at her because of her non-stop talk (in high pitch), at the end of that I'd realize that every thing that she just said is true, and it's for our own good. But there are just times and things about me, like my personal issues, that I can not tell or explain to her. It's like I get a bit shy and I don't want her to feel the negative feeling that I have. I'd just pray and I know God will find ways to resolve every issue. My parents and brothers are the best, priceless possessions that I have on Earth.

I agree with "cruelly honest".
My mother is also like that.
She's the first person who will criticize me when I do something wrong.
But I share with you the realization that she's only doing that for our own good.
If she's the first one to criticize, it gives me the opportunity to correct my mistakes...
That way, other people will no longer have enough reason to criticize you ;)

I think the best tasting dishes in the world for most of us will be our own mother's cooking...
It really shows that you love your mom a lot :)
