We will be having our first vacation experience this summer as a family of three.
Of course family vacations are a great way to bond with your loved ones, but when a baby is involved it might also be a little difficult I guess. We enjoyed summer vacations very much before our little baby girl was born.
Now that she is one year old, it is time to take off for an adventure as a family!
Do you have any vacation experience with a baby?
Plenty of clothing, food, sun screens, hats, toys and of course diapers should be with us. But what else?
The issue is, how to prepare a suitable suitcase for a baby's first summer vacation.
Any ideas?

It has been years since I had a baby to take on vacation. But, I remember the big issues was at night trying to get the babies to sleep. We asked for portable cribs but they cried. Yes, I had twins. So, they ended up sleeping with us. One slept with me and the other one slept with my husband. Good luck on your vacation. I know you will have a wonderful trip. By the way where are you going?

We will be travelling to the South of Turkey. To Antalya.
The sleeping will be the major problem because she doesn't sleep anywhere but her bed.

That was always our problem. My kids always slept better in their own bed.

I am an experienced traveler. I traveled a lot before my children were born and I still go off traveling these days too. I took my son to Portugal when he was 4 months old. I took diapers, soy milk formula, sun screen cream, cotton clothing and a few small toys. When he was 13 months old I took him to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. My favorite memory on that trip was exploring a castle with my disabled son crawling across the draw bridge. My baby daughter will travel to Canada with me and my son when she is eleven months old. She will have her first birthday over there. I will take a travel cot for her to sleep in. When at an airport going through security they ask to adult to taste what is in the baby's bottle. I have a travel sterilizer for two bottles. I have to take an international electricity adapter. I hope you will have a very enjoyable vacation with your baby girl.
