secrets

is telling your friend a very personal secret about some one causes a problem because that friend talked to much? i had a friend i told a secret to i begged her not to tell anyone and she still went back and told the secret i gosh! i did say it was personal but people dont always listen..has that ever happened to you? or any one you know?

I too learned my lesson the hard way you just did. Ever since I know, you must never tell your secret, even if it is your best friend. Never reveal your secret otherwise; it would never remain a secret. Once you tell your secret to someone, it means you want it to be revealed.

Not necessarily, You have to tell people things, cause You want to talk about it. People tell me secrets all the time. If I tell anyone, it'd be someone that doesn't know them at all like my sister, just cause I can vent my thoughts about what that person did or is doing.

you should not always trust your friend unless you are sure of her/his credibility on keeping secrets. There's always a possibility of your secrets being divulge if you share them to people you can't fully trust. and it is always difficult to pinpoint people who can be trusted. sometimes, even your best friend cannot keep secrets the way you want him/her to.
The best is to keep a secrect to yourself only. That way, you are assured of a 100% secrecy on whatever it is that you want to keep hidden. But there are still people around who can be trusted with secrets. The key is to be able to distinguish between the keepers and the tellers.....

If you knew your friend talked too much, then you shouldn't of told her. You can test people though, by telling them minor secrets tiny things, that you wouldn't want to tell people, but wouldn't mind if it got out. Thats a test to see if they tell someone.
Then again, no secret is really a secret. I know secrets, and theres some I wont' say, but like for example.. my sister doesn't know anyone I know, or anyone is that whole group and never will so I may say something to her to vent my feelings cause its never going to get back to those people.

Instead of telling your secrets to your friends and risk the chance they tell...try posting on www.SecretsINeverTold.com. That's what I do. If I need to get something off my chest, I submit the secret and it feels like a weight has been lifted of my shoulders. You can also comment and vote on other people's secrets. People submit secrets that are crazy, sad, funny and everything in between.
