I have learned that eating a salad after your main course cleans you out better than eating it before your main course. Do you agree with this hypothesis or not? Why or whynot. Tillman Heuer

Not being someone who needs cleaning out, I really don't know. I thought the present opinions were that salad should be your main course! Healthy diet means lots of salads and a variety of foods to give a balance. So your question would make more sense, and surely would be more interesting, if we knew what your main course would be.

Lets say a steak for main course with potatoes and green beans.

I agree with what you have just said and I think for dinner only a complete salad is sufficient as we do not need too much energy before going to sleep, so salad basically helps you digest your food easily and its good for health too.
