Submitting your site to search engines, directories and such. i think it helps

i have a blog on blogger that i have submitted to sites that can add your site to their directories and searches.
this site doesnt have that many content and im merely testing it if this kind of advertising your site really helps.
from what i see, i have at least 3-5 visitors a day without doing anything, and google suddenly added me to its search.
is it me or does it really helps?

uhmm i really would like to help you but giving you hundreds of hundreds of links will tire me. i have a folder here with all the search engines and directory sites of other countries local sites and international and such. It is such a massive list.
but this is just for proving a point that you can create visitors just by adding your site to directories and such.

Yupz, if you add your blog or website to some directory sites, then they will help you to add it to search engine. And if your blog is interesting, then you will get more visitor not only from search engine but also from the visitor who already have been there.
