I have had about enough Lol

I started about two months ago trying to get myself back to my ideal weight. Just the healthiest weight for my height, I am not trying to be Twiggy over here. So my husband and I started walking a mile a day every afternoon. I was feeling it by day three. Which was fine, because I thought ok, I will keep doing this and I will be back to feeling better in no time. Wrong!
Over a series of three weeks, I started becoming weak and tired. I had an unGodly pain in my right side. I literally felt like I was dying. So I went to the doctor thinking ok, maybe he will prescribe some vitamins and I will be fine. Wrong--again!
I was diagnosed with colonic diverticulosis last year. So I started on this high fiber diet last year. I had the right side pain last year. But then it got better so I thought ok, everything is going to be fine. But that was last year.
So I found out that my doctor (from my new doctor, cause I wanted another opinion)last year did not bother to tell me that I was severely anemic. So here I am still severely anemic with a low hemoglobin level literally freaking out.
Within the last two weeks, I have had an endoscopy, colonoscopy, tests on my gall bladder, and I have been stuck with so many needles I feel like a pin cushion. I now have to wait until later this month they say to get my gall bladder out. Which has gall stones. And now there is a possibility that I will have to have my uterus removed. I have had enough.... I have more doctor's appointments this week which I am sure that yes there will be more needles. I am honestly terrified that they will find so many more things wrong before all of this is over.
Has any one else been through all of this before?

Poor, poor you!!
I suffered for years with gall stones, it is an awful illness, I thought at times that I was dying.
I had the operation to have my gall bladder out 12 years ago and I have been fine since.
Do take care, I really hope that you are feeling better soon.
God bless

Oh my! You certainly have had a rough few weeks! I can't say that I've been thru anything quite like that but I have had 9 surgeries in my life ao I can relate to the sick of being poked and prodded part of things. But look at it this way, if you hadn't started the walking routine you might not have caught these other issues as soon as you did. So it might turn out to be a mixed blessing in time that is. I'd request copies of your past medical charts and if you were severely anemic and no one told you and advised you on corrective measures, you may need to take some action. I am NOT saying to sue anyone but the original doctor needs to know he messed up and so does the clinic or hospital he works for.
I will add you to my prayers and maybe things will work out better than you think right now. I suffer from depression and have a one day at a time way of coping with it. So try not to worry about what might happen in a few weeks but only what do you need to do today to take care of yourself! And also be grateful that you do have access to medical care that will in time make you feel so much better! Most doctors are amazing but just like any other profession, some aren't so good. Glad to hear that you got a 2nd opinion and if surgery is recommeneded then you may want to check on that too. Also check out Webmd as it has lots of information that is consumer friendly. Let us know how you progress.. Take care and one day at a time!!
