Is having a pet like having a child?

It depends on what kind of pet because kids are very time consuming. Most pets take care of them selves. I feel if you have a dog it's like a child they need lots of attention and they basically know what your saying. Cats are not because they do there own thing and could care less about what you say.

NO!!! I THINK THEY R MORE OF AS FRIENDS... COZ THEY LISTEN 2 US WITHOUT COMPLAINING

Yes. My dog is like my child. I raised him, nurtured him, Bathe him, feed him, play with him, scold him, teach him....

Yes, because you love, and take care of it, like you would a child. You also get attaced to them, and when something happens to them it hurts you, just like if something was to happen to your child, it would hurt.
