who are your first friends?

My mother’s siblings is a whooping nine or 9. And among these 9, all of them were already married, allowing our clan to be expand and a lot of us right now. Then, it happened that among the children of my aunts and uncles, there were those that are of my the same age, of my older sisters and brothers, and my younger sisters and brothers. And we can’t deny the fact that the first friends we have are our cousins. I think, this runs in the blood of the Filipino culture. No wonder, that the strong family ties we have is the main reason why we missed so much our family. And there are really a lot of advantages when the first friends we have are our cousins. And some disadvantages. But just a few. So you like it? Or what and who are your first friends?

I agree with your post. Filipino families are really close. My first friends are also my cousins. Even now some of my closest friends are my cousins. I believe that it is a good thing that we, Filipinos, have close family ties.

Nuclear family huh?. That is something new. Hehe. Well, your case is different. But at least you get to enjoy together with your house members and the member of your family as well. And I bet, the bond between you and them are so much different than the bloodline from outside the family.

Hmm, I don’t really consider them as my friend. Because during those times when I was a kid, I used to consider them as kill joyers. Hehe. You know what I mean. Then, my siblings were my enemies.. but later on, I realized that the best persons in the world are within your family. They are the very friend we have to be with for the rest of our life. Others will come and go and leave us. But our siblings and family will never. Well, of course according to reasons. Hehe. thank you!
