Do we actually socialise with the help of social networking sites. We spent more time facebook, twitter than meeting friends or relatives.Infact social networking are getting into ur life replacing our friends n elatives. We interat with on these social networking sites.I think that we can not replace our real life conversations by being on these sites.

I personally think, it adds to socialisation. The best way to sociali\e is obviously, face-to-face but, we have to admit, this is a great way to keeping up to addate with what friends are doing, any parties or events and of course, keeping in touch with people you don't see as often as you would like. Ofcourse, it is also a good way of being nosey :D.

Social networking sites help people in socializing, yes its a big help but we must still socialize in person. Also social networking sites help in communicating with long lost friends

Hi and welcome to myLot!
I think that we have to be careful with these social networking sites that they DON'Ttake over our lives and stop a physical connection.
There is a place for them, I have just been looking at some old family photos that my brother in law has put on Facebook.
I love to keep in contact with my family on it but nothing can replace meeting them face to face, in fact I am travelling home this weekend to spend some time with my family.
Facebook and similar sites certainly have a place but we musn't let them take over completely.
