Is Mobile Phones really fulfilling our needs or creating Nuisense?

I personally hate them. People chatting away on their phones while at the grocery store or in line for something are just a pain, they get in the way because they aren't paying attention to what they're doing. I think its silly how people just can't do anything anymore without talking on the phone. I can see having them for emergencies or something but I think people spend way to much time talking on them. I have one but it sits on my desk, in my dorm. The only time it leaves is when I go home for the weekend, I really don't like being reachable all the time.

They are great in some ways, but others they are just creating a distraction. I think that they do make families have more communication between each other. But I agree with you, 50/50.
