Tired of the Same Old Dinner Recipes.

It seems like that lately we have been in a dinner rut in our home. The menu does not deviate much from week to week because we have been on a budget. I don't have to be so thrifty this week and was wondering if anyone had any good recipes for chicken or beef (especially slow cooker recipes.) Someone recently told me that they had made lasagna in a crockpot. I wonder if it would be any good?

This so sounds like me. The problem is that I want to find some more healthier recipes, but it seems to cost quite a bit to eat healthier. Does anyone know any good cheap, healthy recipes? If I buy some stuff in bulk, it seems to save me a bit, but it is still pretty rough on the wallet.

Vironet one thing that I try to do in order to save money and have healthy food is shop at the local farmers market. It helps support local farmers and is so much cheaper than those big box stores!

I know exactly what you mean. Each and everynight trying to find a good recipe because you so get sick of cooking the same thing night after night, week after week. Its gets so monotous. My daughter came up with a new recipe for chicken cutlets. You lay them down in olive oil in a pan that can go into the oven. You can poke them with a fork or knife then you drizzle olive oil on top of the chicken and also add lemon pepper all over them or to your liking bake to your liking and serve with either rice mixed with a veggie or mashed potatoes and your favorite veggie. The chicken is delicious. I hope this helps in someway.

Sounds like my house. Always the same stuff, but money is tight and I don't want to waste any money on things my kids might not like. The crocpot lasagne sounds interesting. If you find the recipe, can you post it here for us? In fact, any good crockpot recipe would be most appreciated. Thanks.
