Teleconference call in the toilet

Funny thing I saw and heard at work today. Just before lunch I went into the restroom. The urinals in the men’s restroom are placed alongside the cubicles. As I set myself in front of the urinal just beside one of the cubicle, I could hear the guy inside in some sort of conference call. He was just commenting on a chart in one of the slides he just showed a group of people on the other line. I thought it weird so after I finished, and started to walk away, I tried to glance at the bottom of the cubicle. And I saw that his pants were definitely down.
I guess there is nothing wrong with what he was doing, as nobody could see him. I just thought it odd. What if somebody on the other side flushed the toilet? Wouldn’t they hear it on the other line and get curious?
Anyway, to make this a discussion, have you ever seen something like this? Have you ever seen or heard somebody doing their business in the toilet? Of course, the real kind of business.

Hahaha. I've been that lots of time. Especially if its an emergency call. Well I dont mind as long as the person calling you does not know. Well it would not hurt so much if you didn't tell any. I mean hey, for some its disgusting. But for me, just being me.

hi bounce I am laughing just imaging what the people on the other end were thinking if they heard that flushing. I was in a womans restroom once at a mall here iN Ca called the Village. I heard this woman
talking away, and it sounded like someone in a meeting, then she
said what I thought was Patsie so I called out Yes do I know you'
maam? then I heard her say Oh just some fruit cake trying to horn in on our business meeting Kathy , now you were saying, then is when I got angry and let my toilet flush loud enough she was having a hard time talking to the Kathy,. I was washing up when she came out in her tight little business suit. She glared at me and said, you flushed right in the middle of my business meeting. I glared back and said, well is not that what you do after you have done your busines? And for your information why are you holding a meeting while in a restroom in the mall? She flounded out and did not answer me. wow.

Haha! So there are really people (aside from this guy in my office, of course) that conduct business while in the toilet. Is this what our world has become? Are we so much of a multi-tasker that we could include toilet-business as another task that could be done simultaneous with other tasks?!
And she had the nerve to ask you why you flushed in the middle of her meeting?! Haha, I liked your answer Hatley!

hi bounce and erikmama what really makes me laugh is how angry she was when I thought she was calling to me, Patsie sounds a lot like Kathy the way some people say it, and her response to the conference people, as at first I really thought maybe she did know me. a lot of people know me as I used to work in the tustin library and was always shelving books and people would ask me questions. but then to fuss with me over flushing my toilet made no sense.

Hi, bounce58. That is disgusting!
I have never seen anything like this before. Only but on T.V. that is. I have seen many people talk while they are on the toilet seat. But not to where they were having a teleconference call. I would not want to do any business with someone that is on the telephone talking while they are making a stinky mess in the toilet. That is just so downright and ill!

My thoughts exactly!
But I guess he figured that as long as nobody sees him, nobody would know. I'm sure he was talking with a group from a far-off location. How else could he take the chance that of anybody else in the office telling on him.

Hm, in most circles it's considered rather bad etiquette to conduct business on the phone while in the potty...
Besides what if you drop your phone in the water. Nasty, not to mention expensive!

Hey bounce! You are right about the toilet flushing thing! Now
that would have been extremely embarrassing to say the least!
I just don't understand people and cell phones! There are just
times and places that enough is enough! I wouldn't talk on my
cell in a public restroom! I do talk on my home phone and flush,
but that is because my friends all do the same!lol Although, it
is kind of gross! But, I am only going in for a "quick pee"!
And by the way, I thought you were a woman all this time so thanks
for clearing all that up!

If someone else flushed the toilet, I'm sure the sound would have carried thru the phone and the conversation. I'm sure it would have been funny how the caller would weasel out of his way with that.
