The Fourth Kind = The movie!!

I know its an older movie but I saw it last night and I told hubby that I wasnt going to bed unless I could watch a cartoon after so I could forget about it and manage to sleep without having nightmares.
Apparently its a true story. It happened in Alaska, they show real (so they say) footage of videos filmed at that time.
Its the story of 24 disappearances in that area. The movie is the story of Dr. Abigail Tyler who worked there as a psychologist. To make the story short, she finds out that some people have been abducted by aliens as well as her and her husband. They also take her daughter.
You see actual footage of people being hypnotized and reliving their abductions. You also see a cop who was in front of her house while a UFO flew over it and he said people were taken through the roof to the spaceship. You also see actual footage of this.
It really REALLY disturbed me to watch this movie. Id hate to think that some heartless aliens are taking me to do medical tests on me. Hell I wont even go for a blood test because Im too afraid.
So what do you think. Could it be that we're being used like lab rats and we dont even know about it. Could we have UFOs flying around without anyone knowing about it?

The movie isn't really based on a true story. That was just done for the movie. The so called real video footage is fake, and the person playing the crazy doctor is an actress.

How do you know all that for sure? Why would they say its "real footage" if its not? Propaganda? Marketing? Publicity? Well I know parts of the movie is from actors, they say the "real footage" is from the real people it happened to.
But Im interested in finding out how you know its fake......oh Id love it to be fake, please say it is so I can sleep better now!!!

i'm pretty sure its fake i remember reading up on paranormal activity and that one is obviously also a fake but while i was reading the fraud about that movie...i had started researching about all the statements and "facts" claimed in the fourth kind and i found no evidence supporting anything ;p .... searched on the doctors featured and well they are unknown...thinking that if they were involved with "unknowns" youd figure thered be an article if it was true...but none exist. :)

with every fiber of my being i think its possible that we can have ufos flying around but honestly i think somebody knows about them. also being used as a "lab rat" is a theory but i prefer not to go down that route of thinking (but then again you cant avoid possibilities.) And for people who do not believe in life out somewhere else...come on...go read ;p

You're like me, you'd rather not think that we can be used as lab rats, but......!!!!
Oh I know there are other life forms out there, we cant be the only ones!! Makes you wonder about us sending spaceships out there....will we turn into savages if we find life on another planet, abduct them, study them, turn them into lab rats also?

exactly theres billions of planets (supposedly many claimed habitable by NASA) just in our milky way galaxy and theres hundreds of billions of galaxies in our universe!
so doing math there are billions of planets in just our galaxy take that and subtract the planets which our habitable (which is a lot apparently) plus the 500 billion galaxies estimated subtract all the habitable planets they have and that all equals to us being the only possible life? i think not...and it irritates me when others believe other wise, but its whatever & they have their rights.
and thats a good point im sure us "earth" people would try to study them and assuming that that makes me feel uneasy about all the other planets observing us...

I dont know if I believe or not. Truth is, Id rather NOT to be honest. Its too scary to think that we arent in control.
Well if you manage to see it, dont watch it before you go to bed, or make sure you have a comedy to watch after. Its way too heavy and they do show "real" footage. Yes it could be tricked but how can we ever find out the truth.
Thanks for not putting down people who DO believe or those who, like me, arent sure!!
