Was The Shooting Justified???

To add to the crime all 3 boys were armed with a weapon. As the 3 boys were leaving an employee who had just faced their guns took the opportunity to grab a gun & he shot all 3 boys who had just robbed them. Two of the boys were wounded & one of the boys died. Now his family is raising hell at how he was gunned down like a dog & he should have been left alone because he was leaving the establishment. I have very mixed emotions about this incident. I can understand how being scared could provoke the threatened employee to shoot without thinking clearly. However, if it were my child, I'm sure I'd look at it differently!!! Today the Solicitor announced he would not prosecute the employee because... [i]You have an unfettered right to defend yourself," Trey Gowdy told News 4. "If you reasonably believe you are in danger of losing your life, you may use force up to and including deadly force," said Gowdy. When asked if the law applied even if the suspects were fleeing, Gowdy said, "How did the employees know they weren't going outside to get a bigger gun? If you are in fear of your life, you can use deadly force."[/i] I've NEVER cared for this particular solicitor. However, in this case, I think I agree with him.
