home remedies for blemishes?

I have been breaking out real bad lately for some reason. It's not that time of the month so I don't understand it, but anywho, I can't afford to get zit cream so does anyone know of any home remedies to clear them up? i tried toothpaste but that just makes my skin too dry.

Always use an antibacterial soap to wash your face. Brand doesn't matter. The skin from the inside of an egg shell covering a blemish helps bring the pimple to the top so you can get rid of it. Use plain old peroxide on any blackheads or popped pimples (make sure they are ready to pop or it might leave a pock mark). There is a paste you can make with oatmeal and water, just mix until its all pasty and spread on your face like a mask. Rinse off after 20 minutes, it soaks up extra oil from your skin.
