Currently I have a problem with AVG-Free anti-virus. I can not do the latest updates because they can not connect to the server. Why now AVG-Free is not updated anymore? Whereas during the AVG-Free this has led many computer users to solve computer virus attacks. Can you provide the best solution to address this problem.

I love free stuff but when it comes to your computer and all your files, pics, and personal info it's better to just spend the money. My husband got a cheap $29.99 at Walmart (McAfee) and it worked great and it's for a year. So consider buying one, also if the virus is already on your computer a cd is a better option than a download. The virus may be preventing the update.

Oh yeah our virus was one sick mofo first it popped up a window that said you are unprotected and then displayed a list of viruses he had and it looked just like a microsoft window so he thought ok I will install it and it jacked everything up. When we got the program we had to install anti-virus in safe mode to get it to work. I hate viruses.

Hi,
I think the problem is that this latest version of AVG has a bug. Once I updated my AVG, my system refuses to acknowledge any existence of an antivirus solution installed in my machine. Weird huh? Once this error occurs AVG completely stops updating itself. This is why I don't use AVG anymore. I have installed the latest version of Avast Home Edition, which is free from such issues. It automatically updates itself and notifies you when it does so. Thanks
God bless you

aha! computers my specialty. hmm. Ive never had this problem with AVG I would suggest unintsalling it then reinstalling it, during instaltion it should try to check for updates and download all the latest ones. also check your firewall settings maybe or just try turning it off for the update and see what happens. get back to me, Im curious if any of this helped!
