What are your feelings on Euthenasia?

For anybody who may not know, Euthenasia is assisted suicide- it is carried out by people who have terminal illnesses (such as cancer), and want to end their lives before they get so ill they can do nothing for themselves, it is illegal in the UK- but parts of Europe have special clinics for this assisted suicide. The death is painless and dignified, and the patient simply takes a medication which will shut down their bodies, but any family member who was at their bedside and "assisted", will come home to court and possibly even prison.
What do you think of the matter? Do you think the UK should take sympathy and legalise Euthenasia, or do you think it is set for failure, is our country not "clever" enough or organised enough to be able to set it up without flaws?
Is it set for corruption? Or do you think we should all have the right to end our lives when we wish in a dignified manner rather than suffering for months, possibly even years with an illness you will never overcome, and will eventually die from anyway?

i think it should be legalised in the uk,but it should be made compolsary that you and your family have a lot of counselling first,,euthenasia is down to the individual, what right does anyone else have to say how you die when you are in your last few months of life, people should be able to die with dignity
