How many of you read all your comments and respond?

I do not see the point of posting a discussion if the poster is not interested enough to read the responses. I do read all responses to every discussion that I post. I do comment, usually, on every response. Sometimes I will receive a comment to my own comment. If necessary I will post another comment. Rarely will I post any one line comments or responses to comments. The idea behind posting comments to responses is to carry on the dialog if the opportunity presents itself. Additionally, I go back to the discussions that I have responded to in order to see if the poster commented on my response. I find it rather disappointing when there is no comment at all but sometimes I can understand why there may not be one. It is nice when the poster foes comment, in relevance to what my response was saying. Again, if the opportunity or need is there to respond further, I will leave a further comment. So yes, I do read all of my comments as well as responses.

Discussions on myLot are like offline conversations. Some people take part and talk a lot while others sit on the side lines and don't say much at all. In the same way there will be those who have something to say to everyone and some who ignore what others have said. I respond and comment back to anyone who has something to say to me anywhere and everywhere, be it on my discussions or those of others. I find that there is always something that I can add. That's me though and not everyone does what I do - and a sad world it would be if they did. If you are happy doing it then go ahead. As long as what you type fits the rules here then if it rocks your boat, get ssiling!

I am here for friendship, so i tend to do all everything for a long lasting friendship. If u check all of my dis, then u will find my activeness and sincerity (not braging). But my last dis is yet to comment back to 2. Thanks.

I don't start all that many discussions, but when I do, I will read all the responses I receive, and I do comment back, as I feel that if they take the time to read my discussion and respond then I will take the time to comment back, as it is only common courtesy to do so. I will comment back to any other comments I receive as well. We are only paid for what we do anyway, and if I want to earn I do need to comment back. There are some that don't comment back to the responses they receive, and it is apparent, that either they don't know htey should to earn, or they think they will earn by the responses they receive, or they just don't care, and it is probably a combination of all three. I will always comment back, as I don't want to be rude by not doing so. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi oldchem, I always read and leave a comment on any response (except if it is a double post)on my discussion. For me, it is the only right thing to do. Online communication (more so in a discussion) is just like offline communication. If we ask someone to discuss something with us, it is totally rude if we did not reply to them. Just imagine what do you feel when someone ask for your opinion but leave you alone after you give it to him or her? Are you comfortable with it?

I do respond and read comments. Its nice to react to people and learn something from them. Its nice to exchange ideas about something. I tried to reply as much as possible. I hope I can reply to all comments, but if not it doesn't mean i didn't read their comments or don't like their reply. I really appreciate people who read your post.

I am doing it because I do like their comments and ideas to my topic. I cam learn from their thoughts also and whatever it is. But I did not go through all because still busy with my work but if have more time I will do it. I'm so excited with what they say about what I wrote. I did not count how many at all as long as there are responses I will read and respond and say thanks for that comment.

for me yes of course i read all response to my own post. i respond to their comments but not all of them coz most of them are just the same but it doesnt mean im not reading them. though sometimes i posted some questions here and my intention is to get a lot of response as long as my question was already answered even by just one response then im already contented though sometimes i posted my problem here expecting some idea from other members. everyday i always check my post if theres new response and i immediately response to them though sometimes if i have nothing to say, i just read them.

I also respond to almost every comment i get and read it first. If i'm not in the mood i read it later if it's long and still respond. I don't respond if a comment is very short and in broken English and just tells nothing. That's when my response saying thank you for comment would be longer than the commend my discussion would get.

i definitely agree with you that we should read and respond to the comments.i think it is inpolite no response to others' comments.through the comments,we can discuss on different topic and have new discussion and get new imformations.do you think so?

I really try to. I am on dial up so i and my machine are slow. I have had one who responded several weeks later and i did appreciate it. She cared enough to get back with me.

I like to look at the respond on my own discussion, I will read each of it if there is everyday....I will try my best to respond all the comment or feedback from the discussion...I believe mylot have to strategy to make people reply to their respond in such a way that you will at least earn some penny from your respond..am I right? But I believe it will be much more difficult to reply or respond to all the comments or feedbacks once the amount increased to too many...you will have to spend quite sometime to answer or respond to each of the comment or feedback. I will try not to just reply in one line or two..this is not the style of mylotter....mylot like to have people who can write as long as possible and as descriptive as possible....so that those people who read it can easily understand it....

Yes i actually do go back and read and respond. i try and respond to every one that i can because comments or always coming in. i love responding to people. responding to people keeps the conversation going and interesting to see what else others thinks, plus their grantee too come back or add you for future convos :)

I do try to keep up with answering discussions aswell as starting and responding to discussions.I try to come on here every day and do a few to try to catch up aswell as ensure that i have answered some of my friends discussions, however with having children i have to fir this in inbetween things with them.I like to also give a best response as i think that ius another thing that people tend not todo as much now adays.

If I make some discussions even if I only have one line response I would see to it that I would response and be thankful for his/her response. I would be different case, if I response to the discussion and I would got a one line response I would not response at all to that discussion.

i read and oftentimes respond to those who commented on my posts if they're interesting enough for me it's a subjective thing i guess when it comes to responding back hehehe

Ya I also read all of my responses and comments I got..After all its the topic i have made and i should get the feedback from my friends..I also try to comment on my discussion to get the best possible responses ..

hi, oldchem1. i am quite new here, but i've already tried starting a few discussions :) surprisingly many people left comments on my first discussion! i was so glad that i read all the comments carefully then i responded all of them. i like reading other people's opinions, which broaden my perspective. so i thank people's comments and try to respond as much as i can.
