I have recently started publishing my eBooks and I have them on several sites. I'm trying to get some ideas or suggestions on how to advertise them. If anyone knows of any sites or effective ways I can advertise them please post to this discussion. Thanks

Hi Agrant, I see many people use manual traffic exchanges to send traffic to the website selling ebooks.
However, I think a more effective idea is to create a landing page to gather mailing list. You can give a short version of the ebook free to entice people to sign up.

I want to learn more from you about eBooks publishing since I have one book I struggled to finish this season. I think it is good to post the link and information on several sites like blogsites and forum discussion or even in yahoo to inform the public about your books.

I started writing my book which is a collection of short stories. Then I decided to use a few of my stories and turn them into eBooks. I started with Smashwords and made it into their p. catalog and they send them out to different outlets such as: Sony, Apple, etc. Then I placed some of them on Amazon.

I was going to suggest selling them on Amazon but notice that you already do that.
Do you sell on Create pace or ou can publish through a site called Lulu and publish in ebook format.
I'm not sure about using traffic exchanges because it's not that targeted and people only tend to view the pages for the 15 seconds or whatever that they need to, at least that's what I've found from my experience.
