Oh yes, the title is shocking, isn't it? I am sorry to have shocked you though... Well.. Dear myLotters... I am going to talk about a kind of Vampires which exist everywhere... They bother me a lot and never let me sleep peacefully... They suck my blood and live on it... You will ask, 'What are the H*ll are you talking about?' Well, I am sure most of us know them... I am talking about 'BUGS'... Oh I am so awfully tortured by these little vampires, who can't fly but have the ability to hide as quickly as possible... I don't get much of the rest that I need after my hard work in the office. for the past 3 nights, i have been able to sleep for 3-4 hours only... Awful, horrible and tiring... Please share your experience and also, give an effective solution to this problem.. I am so tired...

I am guessing the BUGS you are talking about are mosquitoes?? Close your windows ! Spray the room. Get citronella and burn it outside! Use a bug repellent on yourself before sleeping or trying to.......... All the above should cover your terminology of BUGS :) quita

Hi Quita... I referred to the bed bugs, when I started.. Mosquitoes aren't very frequent here, thankfully... I am going to use a spray this saturday, when I won't have to go to work... Hope that will work and I'll be able to sleep well... Thanks for suggestions... Have a great time!

You have been very lucky Quita, as you have not had to deal with these little monsters... I have had quite a bad time this week... Tomorrow, I am going to use a spray, that will surely kill them... I know I need sleep.. This week my health has been a little affected, I hope things'll get better soon.... Thanks for your valuable suggestions my friend.. Have a nice time!

HMMM???? Never had those...I don't know how or what to do about bed bugs. I think the members have some good ideas but the use of insecticide is probably your best bet. Sleep is important to your health and mental attitude. Take care to rid yourself of those creatures and get some sleep ! quita

Hi, mr_pearl. I don't like mosquitoes at all! They bite you so secretly and they leave red bump marks all over your body when you least expect of it! My daughter has gotten bitten up badly by mosquitoes a couple of years ago. They bit her all on her legs. And she scratched them until it left dark marks on her legs. I don't like anything that bites either. Especially those black ants that will sting after they bite.

Hi Cream... Thanks for sharing... Yes, mosquitoes are very bad... And with children they really do the worst job... Kids generally are not able to cope with it and they either cry (if too young) or simply scratch and try to get rid of the pain.. The scratching is dangerous, as it can cause any kind of infection... Please take care of your lovely kid.. Also try to convince her that scratching is not going to lessen the pain, on the contrary, it will increase the more she scratches... Have a nice time!!!

Hello Mr Pearl. In my apartment I have screen door and windows to prevent any flying bugs from coming in to disturb me. Now summer has arrived and there are a lot of different kinds bugs flying in the open air at night. Once the night is on, the bugs fly to it. In order to keep them completely away, I draw down the curtain of one of my windows where I have to sit next to at night. This way no bugs will come in. Like you, I dislike the bugs as they bother us a lot. Anyway, take care.

Hi William.. Thanks for sharing... You certainly have given a lot of consideration to the bugs' problem and I am sure your sleep has really been very well... Proper sleep gives us the energy to work efficiently the next day... I don't have curtains... But I have sprayed an insecticide and the bugs are gone... have a great time buddy!

Do you have bed bugs? Ditch your mattress and get a new one soon as you can.

I really laughed at the start, I though you were talking about politic and how bad that guys get payed for sometimes doing nothing useful to our society. Anyways, from my experience, the best you can do is to buy something against them like that spray cans or the electric stuff anti-bugs.

First i want to know about where do u live? In my imagination, you are live in the jungle..hehe I think you can try bug/mosquito repellent cream or spray. Or you can try herbal bracelet to protect you against mosquito. Clean your room from bug before you sleep. Just try it and i hope you can sleep tight.

haaa, you're talking about these bugs... I would suggest you to put a sieve against bugs and insects to your window. It is easily attachabe and you can have open window all night without worrieng about these stupid vampiers...or day time keep the window open, then nighttime close it and before sleep go around all room looking in the cealings if there are no bugs if there are some, take vcuum ceaner and suck them in! I sometimes throw the pillow agains celilings - bugs are killed and celings are still clean without any blood spots! So I have three solutions: pillow throwing, vacuum cleaner, sieve on window! Good luck!!!

Thanks a lot missweety... I will surely try these solutions.. I hope they work for me... Because I work for 10 hours, 5 days a week... And for last few nights, have been able to sleep only for 3-4 hours... I don't have a vacuum cleaner, but I'll certainly try other options... Thanks a lot... Have a nice time!

mr_pearl you did not state what kind of bugs that were giving you problems no one can give a solution to your problem unless they know what kind of bugs you are taking about. From what you say in your discussion it could be bed bugs, fleas, ticks etc.

Hii Sirnose... Yes, I am talking about 'bed bugs' only... I don't know about any other bugs and wouldn't want to know.. The ones whom I know have tortured me enough, don't want anymore... LOL... You know some way to get rid of them? Please share..

I think, you are referring to mosquitos as they fly and sucked up your blood unaware. You might want to try insect repelants or sprays them out.

Perhaps the creatures you mean are bedbug. Some of my friends had same experiance. You know what? They use durian fruit to eliminate this creature!! How come!? They say, that because this fruit have unik's smell, that made the bugs drunk and gone. Simply, put the leathers of durian under your bed or in your room. My suggestion is try it first. Hope this useful.

Guess you must be referring to the most common sorta bugs here - mosquitoes!!!! They are literally pests and so annoying when they bite and disgusting when you swat them and splat goes the blood from within them!!! There are the usual ones which bite n you get a lump, scratch for a while and it gone. But then there are these other kind of mosquitoes, guess they are smaller. When they bite, you get huge red welts on your skin and these welts itch like crazy over and over again and then its finally dried up, they leave black marks behind!!! At one point of time , my legs were covered with black spots because of these troublesome creatures!!! Then there are ticks or fleas, the ones that cats usually have. Those are really difficult to kill and they are so fast, you can't catch em!!!

Hi Tangeryne... Thanks for sharing... There are not a lot of Mosquitoes in my room... But I know they are awfully troublesome.. They can also take away the sleep. Thankfully, they are not a lot in my room... I am talking about 'bed bugs', I guess you have referred to them in the second half of your post... They are the most ugly creatures and most horrible... Yes, they bite and leave itchy and red spots on body... And I hate them... There is only one way to catch them... Let them drink as much blood as they can, then they become lazy- just like a vampire- very lazy!! There quick movements vanish and they move as if they are carrying a lot of load on their backs (which is in their stomach in fact). Whenever I catch them, I drown them in a small bowl full of water... This is all fine, only that I don't get to sleep a lot... :( Thanks for sharing... have fun!

Just put repellants on your skin or use sprays. The bugs could really be irritating especially if you need a good night sleep.

Well , I don't get bothered by mosquitoes often because I prevent them getting into my home. I always close all the windows an hour before the sky goes dark and close all the curtains as well. You don't need to buy all those pest control products , you just need to prevent them getting into your home in the first place. IF the mosquitoes do get into my home though (most likely my brother's fault) , I simply find them and squash them... Why don't you get one of those mosquito bed canopies? That should prevent them getting to you and you can just ignore the whine of their flying. Or..If you hate squashing them , why don't you get a mozzy repellent?

Hi Stephen... Thanks for your valuable suggestion... I guess I made a mistake while posting my original post and I am sorry for that... I am not bothered by mosquitoes, I am bothered by bed bugs... I can't prevent them from getting in my room, just wish to get rid of them, asap...
