What is firebug, I haven't heard of that one. I have tried to go through all the add ons they have, there are so many.
I am using Smart bookmarks bar, I like this one alot, it helps when I am bookmarking so many sites to go through after a day of searching on a subject. Easy to delete after I am done with them too. Takes up alot less room in the toolbar to do the bookmarks

Firebug basically allows you to view and edit a web pages source code on the client side of things (HTML, Java Script, CSS) on the fly (very useful for web developers and people with similar interests). You cannot however edit server sided programming such as PHP, Perl, and other such languages, unless of course you have the appropriate permissions to view that code.

Yes, firebug also allows you to physically edit the web page (just for yourself, will not affect anyone else).
So, if you wanted a fluffy kitten image in the middle of the page, you could do so. Though, the potential of what you can do with firebug goes far beyond that.
Personally though, i don't really use firebug that much, the only source code i generally like to see is my own, which I can view and edit without the need of firebug, and effects the actual webpage, not just what I see :)

With the new Firefox, there are much more add-on i especially enjoy. I think I must say I use the most is the FireFTP, because I run a few Call Of Duty server, i tend to upload a lot of things with Filezilla, but with this add-on, when I see a link that takes me to a redirect its easier to upload then to find all the information for it, then entering it in into filezilla, It makes my life much much easier.
