Tonight starts the three episode arc of the season finale for NCIS. I have read many interviews concerning this (namely from Michael Weatherly)and have had several hints. A colleague of the NCIS team is going to die. Someone is going to be injured. Bullets will be flying and no one is safe.
We know the arc is revolving around Gibbs - mainly the fact that he killed the man who killed Shannon and Kelly in Mexico. We also know that the finale will more than likely take place in Mexico. That Gibbs is going to be out of his comfort zone and will be doing things that we haven't seen him do in 7 years. That his team will be in danger and Gibbs must make a devastating choice. What will it be?
I am really excited about these next three shows and would like to know what other NCIS fans are thinking. Who will be the colleague that dies? Who will be injured? What is the devastating choice that Gibbs will have to make? How much danger will the team actually be in?
What do you think?

Since the actors that play Gibbs, Vance, Ducky, and Ziva are all under ontract for at least one more year, we can assume they are safe. The actors playing DiNozzo, Magee, and Abby are all trying to negotiate new contracts for next season and so far have not signed on due to low offers. Despite the lack of contracts, we have to assume that they are supposed to be coming back. At least they will make it through this season. So who does that leave to die? Jimmy Palmer? Fornell? Or, with Mexico involved perhaps Mike Franks? That might be my choice since you'd be losing somebody you've come to care about without disrupting the main cast.
