I've noticed of late that my arms are growing really fat much to my dismay! I love wearing sleeveless and spaghetti tops but I can't now cause of my flabby arms. Any suggestions on how to lose fat from your arms and tone up???

Exercise is the only thing that will tone flabby muscles. Use weights, exercise bands, or your own weight. Bicep curls, Tricep dips. Lateral shoulder raises. There are many exercises that work all the muscles of the arm (and it is important to work them all). If your arms are getting flabby because of weight gain, than you need to incorporate a little sweat like aerobics into your workouts, too. Burn those calories. Stick with it. You won't see results overnight, but you will see them.

Sounds good but I have no idea what exercises your talking about. Thinking of getting myself some light weight dumbbells. Some simple exercises can help a bit atleast. Thanks for your input.

tangeryne really one cannot just lose weight from one part of the body alone when you lose it comes from all over, but while losing weight if you are overweight you could try weight lifting exercises to firm up your arms and the flab , I have it too again but when I was slimmer I hd toned my arms with doing all sorts of weight lifting exercises. try Denise Austin.com for a lot of good arm exercises and other great health information too.

Thanks Hatley, will check out the website. I know weights will help but I don't know what kinda exercises would. Did weights for a while when I had joined a gym but there I had a trainer to tell me what exercise to do. Anyways, will look up the website :-)

Hi, I think you should join gym or yoga and tell the instructor about your requirements. Also try to consult a dietitian. Thanks God bless you

Select an exercise pattern to suit your life style. All of us have different life styles and professions so there is no sense in trying to follow the book strictly. Try and follow an exercise routine that is suitable for you. You have to understand that even more important than the exercise it is sticking to it. So unless you choose something that can suit your life style, you are not going to stick on to it.

People often think that if youj work out your belly you will only lose fat there and the sasme that if you do a cvertain exercise you'll lose the flab on your arms. Thats not how it works. When you lose fat it's evenly distributed through your body (same when you gain). People have different body shapes and think that ebcause theres more in one area then thats the only place you gain. You will add to the same place first the most and shed tehre last. You need to do tinign exercises with your mucsels so pushup, situps, and other exercises alike and cardio (like running or biking). And these exercises need to be at least for 30minutes before you start to use the energy built up in your fat compartents. Good luck. :)
