How far you can shift when sleep? Have you noticed position your sleep ? when you wake up, are you keep in begining position your sleep position ? This morning I woke up on the floor with a bump on my head, whereas last night, clearly, I sleep on the bed. Weird!

When I was young,I always dropped to the floor when sleep. But when time has gone,I get quiet and don't move very far.I don't know the reason for this change. But I like it.

maybe on the side of your bed there boards which prevent you from falling. Or when you sleep, your body was tied with a rope?

You're not the only one. I also find that it's more comfortable to sleep on the other end of the bed. Though, I'd say I only find its more comfortable to do so on a hot night. However, they come rarely these days as I pretty much always switch the Air Conditioner on to what ever temperature I want.
To be honest, I've never really taken notice of what position I go to sleep in, and then what position I wake up in, but to take a jab at things I'd say I go to sleep and wake up roughly in the same position.
