is frindship the first step towards love?

frinde dont let friends just be friends...dies it makes sense or do you think its just another rubbish which i made up...
well even if i hade made up it really make sense to me,you have a friend who is really beautiful and she is very entertaining you like to talk to her and spend time with her when you are in distress she comes to console you and make you feel better,and hence a feeling comes to your mind that i want to spend the rest of our lives together and hence love blossoms in our mind,and we do things to make her happy and do things to impress her and try to make her more than your friend
i think now i m making sense,for me friendship is not just a friendship its the first step towards love,until u havent had friendship how the hell you can fall in love??

It makes sense. One need to plant the seed of friendship before it blossoms into a beautiful love. Nothing will happen without the bridge of friendship. But not all friendship ends with love. It needs a strong chemistry to stir the heart to sweep us into a real love. But yes, it starts from friendship.
