Are you satisfied with out country's first automated elections?
Me, I'm not. When I was inserting the ballot into the PCOS, wtf! the machine said, "PAPER JAM!"
Bur, COMELEC, in all fairness, deserve applause and recognition for initiating an automated elections. But the fact remains, the machines and processes used in the elections should me modified and improved.

I agree, there were lots of problems occurred especially at the provinces area. But at least the election had been successful, I think what happened can still be justifiable since it is the first to test the machines or to run an automated election in our country, for sure next time everything will be fine.

Yeah right. I also do hope that it would be fine next time around. Btw, whom did you vote for Pres and VP? :)

With the alleged fraud in the election that is shedding light I am starting to cast some doubt. But before this allegations came out in the open I was fairly satisfied with the conduct of the election. More so, with the manner the votes were counted. With the way we voters were handled I would put my thumbs down with them since I have to wait for 4 hours before I could finally cast my vote. That was the worst experience I have since I would usually take about an hour to vote before but this time it took me 4 hours. It is supposed to be fast because you only have to shade your votes but because they have clustered together the precincts it overcrowded many precicnts. They should look into this matter because it cause a lot of inconvenience on us voters.
As to the conduct of voting I was impressed since it only took me less than 10 minutes to vote. That was the good point on it as well.

Not a bad start at all. This is just the first but if these kinds of scenarios continue to occur on the next elections, only then will I say "fail".

The first automated election came out just fine... I have voted very quickly and so are some of my friends too. While there are isolated cases where people got to line up longer than expected, still in general the first automated election did a pretty good job.

Despite all test failures in the past I think COMELEC has done well this election. Election Automation is a great success. The results for local election is really fast. Even in national level the final will probably be out this week. Of course there is always room for improvement so hopefully by next election we will have a much much better election.
