Who here plays Piano? Well, i play piano. I just want to know who plays piano and what music they play. And i also want to ask how many years have you been playing piano with or without a teacher.

Lastly is to start with a song or melody you enjoy. There is a great level of interest when we enjoy something. Try not to choose songs you feel are very complicated at the start. If it is, you may be able to try playing the basic tune of that song. The key here is to get more comfortable with the piano. By doing this we will be able to expand our comfort levels and tackle more difficult tasks.

I've been playing the piano for most of the twenty years of my life, though I just started taking classes about three years ago at this point. I learned quickly how to read the notes, however, and have been playing pretty solidly since. Most of what I've been playing has been video game and anime music, but I've got a couple of classical songbooks that I'm trying to learn from. I'm currently enrolled in a music theory class in which I'm going to have to compose a piece. Hopefully it turns out nicely, and I can proudly call it my first piano composition! But then, if it turns out horribly, I'll just try again anyway. xD

I have been playing piano on and off for about twenty years. I've had no formal training, I just learnt with the help of John Thomsons books. As of right now, I play hymns for church offeratory and a little bit of classical.

I play the piano, but unforutunately I don't practice much anymore. When I lived with my parents I played often, and even took lessons as one point. These days I only play when I visit my parents. It's funny how your hands remember, even if your mind forgets. I can still sit down and fire out Fur Elise or Canon in D just by feel. Perhaps one day I will get my own piano (just need a bigger house first).
