Do you like to collect movies and/or TV series the you have downloaded?

I don't know about you guys but I have the habit of downloading a movie, watching it and then keep it in my external HD. I already have quite a collection, I also download series like Big Bang Theory, House, Heroes, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Southpark and a lot more.
I started this habit a few years back when I started downloading movies and Tv series daily. At first I would just watch them and delete them. But as time goes on, I would just keep them in my external and organize them. I file them carefully and index them for my ease of searching. I already have quite a collection of series because I usually would just download them by the season. It has become some kind of obsession. The only closest thing I've seen to me was my roomate back when I was in college. He would the same thing but with anime. He would use excel to organize them, to tick which ones have he watched before and invested quite a sum to buy external and dvds to burn them.
Now I am not yet up to that level of obsession but maybe I am getting there, how bout you guys? Do you collect the things you watch? why?

Yes I'm collecting. Series like House, Fringe, Prison Break, Heroes, etc. I also collect movies. I want the movies in HD copy as much as possible. I don't store them in an external disk but rather I burn them and then arrange them neatly. But I'm thinking of buying the original DVDs of my favorite series. This will be my way of thanking them in producing quality series.

In a way, you are correct, we should probably buy them originals to support our series. I enjoy them and I watch them religiously every week, but downloading is just way easier! Oh well, I'll buy them when I have some extra money to spend

I also collect series and movies that I like. Two of my hard drives are already full of series, movies and documentaries. I already burned most of the things that I download. The reason why I keep most of these is that I want to watch these movies every now and then. Except for the series I usually watch the movies and documentaries more than once.

Ahh yes, documentaries. Almost forgot about them. I watch them but I usually don't keep them. Love to watch them though, especially on things like evolution, string theory and a lot more other stuff. History channels have some interesting episodes, its called Clash of the Gods or something like that
