Skydiving - Just what would it feel like?

Where I live there is a sky diving school a few miles away; my husband and I have spent hours sat in our garden watching as the parachutes floats slowly down to earth. I have always wondered what it must feel like - I can imagine that the moment you leave the aircraft until the parachute opens must be a little hair raising!! But I can just imagine that wonderful feeling as the chute opens and you realise perhaps today isn't the day you will die!! What is that floating experience like I wonder, have any of you ever done it. I wonder if I would ever dare - I don't think so now!!

Sky diving is alluring I'll admit but too many things can go wrong when it comes to sky diving. I'd rather not risk it personally just for a thrill. I'll save my thrills for amusement park rides or something.

Well, I am very sporty!! and love adventurous games. I have done many activities and enjoyed a lot like river rafting, zapping, climbing, Rafting and Kayaking adventure was great and zapping was amazing. I have not experienced sky diving but I wish I could do it soon. I just want to experience all the activities before I die. This is all fun, out of this world and you will feel so nice after that. I think on must try each and every amazing activity.

I would love to! I have been looking at those indoor skydiving experiences and, I'd be well up for that! I fancy a go at abseiling too but I think I'll have to wait a few more months for either. (But you wouldn't get me on a rollercoaster!)

i definitely would love to try sky diving! but i think it costs a lot to sky dive and it's not really big here in the philippines, so no plans for me in the near future. but if i were given the chance, i would definitely take it. i probably would be scared to do it but i'd like to try it anyway. do one thing that scares you everyday, right?:)

ive always wanted to try it but for a good cause but one or two things stops stop me from actually doing it. The main reason being i dont like heights (the number one reason i didnt follow my dad into the army and into the para's) The second reason is the cost you need a minuimum sponsership level and i simpley dont have enough friends to acheive this level plus ive i bailed ill feel like ive let my friends down. Another reason would be the fact im on anti depressants witch would mean rising serious eye brows when it came to filling out the medical questionaire
