Though I feel that I am a Harry Potter fan I was bored to tears when I watched the last film I know that there was a lot more time needed than usual to portray the story leading to the last film....All and all I told myself when the last film is released I plan on not seeing it...But, I am sure I will be first in line hoping for the best....

I completely agree; "Half-Blood Prince" was one of my favorites from the series. There were some great scenes, humor, and characterization in the book, but I barely saw any of that in the movie. Most parts were a bore, with the exception of the cursing of Katie Bell. I felt that that director did well with the 5th movie, so I'm a little mystified why the 6th movie was so bad. I hope the next two will be better (or that I live long enough to see a really awesome remake).

I thought the most recent movie was one of the better ones, but of course it couldn't hold a candle to the first 3. I just thought, compared to the 5th movie (Which I hated) the 6th was better. I was really pissed that the whole fight sequence was taken out completely, as that was important. There were also some minor details that were left out that made me angry too, but I still think the 6th was better than the 5th.

I love the book series and the film series although I feel the book series is naturally far superior to the film series. I think the main issue with the most recent installation of the film series was that they cut out most of the stuff from the novel version of it that actually gave it a plot.

I have loved the Harry Potter books and the films. I even went to one of the midnight parties at a book store (for the first book). I do agree that the last movie out was not as good as the others.
Believe it or not I haven't read the last book in the series yet because I didn't want to know how it ends. I want to see the final movie first so I can have a "surprise" ending. Then I will read the last book.

Harry Potter series is like a "world of fantacy" where you reach a totally new world. Though it's a fantacy series i like it vey much because of its storyline, characters, special effects and the performances of the actors. It's getting better and better with each new film in the series.
Heads off to J.K.Rowling for writing such an eventful fantacy series.

Basing on your own opinion, i think that you did not like the movie portrayal of Harry Potter but you still called your self because in my own opinion, you have much more of loved the novel itself rather than the movie.
In my own case, i love both the novel and the movie although in the movie, we can find some mistakes and lapses yet i understand it considering of the many factors which affects the making of the movie.
