Hi there Acelie! Well, from what I read, dreams is used by our sub-conscious mind to tell you about things that you won't or are not able to acknowledge in reality. It makes use of symbolism that some experts study to interpret.

It depends like, for me, sometimes if I get into a really bad argument with my parents or a friend, it will have a huge effect on my dreams; my dreams turn into nightmares..

yes sometimes because dreams are made from imprints of memory in our brain.. so dreams just has a little difference to reality when it comes to the place and people..
