The Bermuda Triangle

Great topic! I guess I am not the only one out there who follows strange events of "SCIENCE" Ever since I was a youngster in school and first found out about the "BERMUDA TRIANGLE" I have wondered about it. I have followed almost every developement regarding it. I really believe such a phenomenon exist. There are too many real accounts of this strange area over many years. I first learned about it when I was in the 9th grade. I am now a senior citizen well over 40 (smile) and I am still hearing about it and tv science programs are still reporting more recent mysteries from that area. Another demension? I don't know. What I do know is that something is going on in that area. I am not sure the US science community and the military are telling the whole story to the public for whatever reason. My questions are if there is something out there what is it and why is the American science community and government keeping it covered up? With the technology we have today very little goes unnoticed in the air or under the sea. Therefore I feel someone somewhere knows about it. The logic of keeping the information hidden is I presume to keep the public from "PANIC". Could there be something else behind the strange occurences? What do you think? Are there really "OTHER WORLDLY BEINGS ON OUR LITTLE BLUE BALL IN THE HEAVENS"? In this case under the sea.

if the person entering the area, they will be lost because it is usually covered by thick fog. The world is full of questions, and I was not able to answer the mysteries that occurred in the region.

What amazes me with it is KNOWING this WHY would anyone tempt fate and go there??? What I have seen on it, it is unpredictable, and no one knows WHEN it would happen and there is diffinately NO RETURN!!!!

i think this is mysterious alright.. but i watched a documentary and thought that there were people who has actually survived the gravitational pull, or the whatever energy - they have described to be engulfed by a dark cloud, and they seem to have lost their radars, and their compasses as well. I think though that some people may have actually formed some stories about this due to what was told of them, i think even aristotle talked about Atlantis or the lost city burried under the waters of the bermuda triangle right?

That's very interesting. Maybe the Bermuda Triangle is where nature disasters occur, destroying ships and airplanes and they become like tiny pieces of sand and that's where the hungry sea creatures are and they eat humans or maybe that's where alien spaceships are located and that's where they abduct humans, ships, and airplanes. Does these explanations sound loopy? What do you think has caused the missing of these people?

Who knows what happened but i did watch a movie once and there were these people that went into storm and 50 years old planes flew by them and stuff. It was amazing but i don't believe there's another dimension, maybe a cave or a hole that collapses and sucks some water in or storms or it has something to do with magnetism and people get lost. But who knows what's happening it sure gets your mind going.

It certainly sounds so baffling to me that living beings, aircrafts and vessels disappeared from the surface of the earth suddenly. I wonder how is it possible, I mean one could be sucked into a whirpool in the ocean, but isn't it still within Earth, how can it be they are transported into another dimension in other part of the universe. I read that US Coast Guard has an annual record of those missing vessels, but there could be more that have disappeared. I guess no one including the scientists would want to investigate and experiment for themselves if they would truly disappear into another dimension to proof what the triangle is capable of. I have no eartly idea. It has always been interedsting to me but have never quite believed something like this can happen. It is one of the big mysteries i wish they could figure out.

Well i dont really know what actually happens to these people but i have heard one thing recently. One of my friends dad is a captain on a ship and he travels around the world mostly. So my friend told me that this rumor about bermuda triangle is not 100 percent true. His father have passed from the area called bermuda triangle a million times and nothing have happened even a single time. Now i dont know who to believe and who not to.

i think bermuda triangle is the place of devil kingdom. i do not know what happen with them cause i have not enter it yet.. but the science tell that there is a whole down there that makes wind just like tornado, that is why the ship swallow in to the water

I watched a documentary about bermuda triangle in national geographic channel and tried searching about this in the internet. I was totally shocked upon knowing it in the previous years and I was really somehow amazed that this could possibly be like the real magic or rather a terrifying mystery. Nobody really did survive or rather had a person getting back once they faced the bermuda triangle. I've read one in the internet who actually tried to go to the bermuda triangle but wasn't able to but was able to somehow explained facts like when he thought he was heading to his route and eventually, realized that he wasn't actually in that spot again it's a lot farther from where he last remembered and it's really creepy. Even experts can't even explain why this occur and where could this people and their ships and planes could possibly go. Only God Knows where can they possibly be

The scientific explanation about the mysterious vanishment of airplanes and boats is the gravitational pull in that area is very high so if you got sucked by that triangle you will surely cannot escape. According to the tale that I've read that's the place where atlantis was vanished and maybe that's the gateway going to atlantis who knows.

i think there is no scientific reason about this. mostly they say is a very strong gravitational pull that mess up all gadgets and radar an airplane or ship that will be traveling inside the triangle

Hi lelin, I too have read a lot about The Bermuda Triangle over the years, as well as watched several documentaries. It is one of the great mysteries of all times and most airplanes and boats have given it a wide berth for years. We don't hear a lot about it because science can't really explain it and religion doesn't want to admit that it can't either. There are a lot of things that can't be explained but this is probably the best known. Those people may be in another dimension but what happened to send them there? I know that I don't have the answer but maybe some one will discover it later. Who knows what's happening all around us? Blessings.

People have come up with a lot of reasonable sounding theories that would explain the Triangle but the fact that they have never found any substantial amount of wreckage and compasses go nuts leads me to think those theories are wrong. I have always thought that those people are in another dimension that swallowed their craft whole, or mostly so. Just imagine, if it is a seamless journey that the people can't feel, they reach land and find everything changed--loved ones don't know them, cars are different, whatever. Perhaps all the people that go through the process end up in a mental hospital because they make wild claims, thinking they are still in their world! Or, in the case of another dimension that is nothing like this one, a few of them would not survive.

hi lelin1123, wow i never heard of that mystery for a long time.. now that you opened it, its good to solve the mystery behind it once again.. from what i heard from my friends.. they say there are aliens there.. but i think there is something... something that we humans cannot explain.. maybe there is a disorder in the atmosphere there.. that is just a speculation..

Thats story is really creapy..... But really where do they all go ? If the ships were the only disappearing things that would be explainable but now.... Its truely creapy and mysterious...

Well according to wikipedia :) The ship sinking and thus getting lost there has been possibly the effect of methane hydrates which apparently decrease the density of water , thus causing the boats to sink and the wreckage is then dispersed by the gulf stream. People getting lost in the Bermuda triangle has also been theorized to be the effect of the magnetic anomalies in that region which results in compasses giving really off readings.
