not a good idea, always remember guys or anyone can make them out to be anything they want on net, but it isnt safe to meet someone off the net. but if you do take a freind with you and meet in a public place where there is alot of people around. i let my daughter meet one guy off the net, but he came to my house and he was a jerk, even though he was a brother of someone she knew. so i would say NO

HiPujiao.Yes, I did meet an online friend recently.I met him in a public place so there was no reason to be uncomfortable.We got a chance to meet because he was traveling through the same route where my city was.We met at the train station.It was a pleasant experience but the sad part is that later on we had difference of opinion and that put an end to the friendship too.

hi pujiao, you can never trust anyone in the internet nowadays. but it always depends in your own decision and how you can handle yourself when danger comes. well,i can say is first get to know more of the certain person before giving all your trust to him/her. you can never know if that person had already known you and have bad motivations that's why even in chatrooms he/she followed you.in the long run if you get to know more of each other,you can build trust or love as well to that person. i actually would like to meet my friend online,she's also a girl like me and we used to chat along here that's why i think she's harmful... hoping we'll meet one day...
