I like the weather widget of mylot,wonderful!!.. .You directly get the weather report of the place you are close to.
I have this problem that I am not comfortable with the Fahrenheit scale of temperature.Since we were though in Celsius and kelvin scales at the school and college I am more comfortable with those, preferably the former.
I tried changing the 'Preferred Temperature Scale' at the edit section of the weather widget. But the temperature it shows is still in Fahrenheit. It also does not show the current temp of the area.
How to rectify the problem.......any idea....

hi avigar because mylot admins is based in my home country the United
states of American and here we do use Fahrenheit scale and we do
not know beans about Celsius, most of us would have a fit if mylot
changed that to Celsius , after all this is our home country and we should abide by our rules regarding temperatures. I am sure on the web you can find a conversion table that will tell you the comparitve temps in celsius.

Yes you are absolutely right about that.Being a citizen of America you must be used to the Fahrenheit temp scale. And you have all the right to use your home country temp scale.
But mylot offers you an option to choose your preferred temp scale, the default being Fahrenheit-the home country temp scale.
It offers two options Fahrenheit and Celsius.I choose Celsius. But it didn't change to Celsius,I wonder why.....
Since Americans get fit looking at Celsius temp scales?
Indians represent the second largest user base in Mylot,to be precise 71% of the US user base..lol.....

Hello welcome to mylot, actually i have never tried this, but i think USA follows the Fahrenheit scale and it must have been setup as default there, just a guesswork lol..
Thanks for sharing.
God bless you.
Cheers.
