For me he first needs to find a striking partner to Rooney. Berbatov is simply not good enough to lead the attack in the absence of Rooney. Macheda is not good enough just yet to step in as well. Second he needs to find replacements for Scholes and Giggs as the midfield without these two aging superstars still looks a bit suspect in the big games.
I think with Nani stepping up to plate last season and Valencia doing well, the flanks are well covered. Similar defense looks ok, but Fergie would be looking for cover for Ferdinand and Vidic especially if the later decides to move on.

carrick, bebatov and ben foster are ready for ssale.. the rumers seem like karim benzima to come at old trafford next season.. if this heppen it will be great.. berbatov also link in exchange with huntelaar.. they are young and can be a good partner to wyne rooney

benzima didnt call for france squad because he didnt play 1st eleven in real madrid... but he still a good. and young... i also hope rodwell in our squad next season... so he can a good replays for carrick

Tosic is transferred to CSKA Moscow after a good season on loan at Wolfsburg.
Sad, we didn't give the lad any chance to prove himself. With Vidic likely to be join the circus next season a quality Central Defender is what we should look for.Also a creative midfielder. Berba, we I'm not on if his fans, but he's going to stay according to the gaffer. So no need of a new striker.

Just hope chicharito Hernandez produces. He does look very solid and scores in almost every game he is in. I guess we will have to see.

I hear Evra is set to leave the club and go to Real Madrid and Park to Bayern Munchen. That's not the best news... Evra was, in my opinion, the best defender MU had, alongside Vidic... Rio is a good lad, but it's not as reliable.
I think I heard about Foster leaving too, but I don't know where to.
Some rumors say Ferguson is trying to get Ben Arfa, and that wouldn't be a bad move at all.

all man-u need is a fresh striker to partner rooney and a creative/attacking midfielder. last season was a season of transition. next year, we shall be back to the winning ways. our youg players like nani, valencia, fletcher are all steping up. id give berbatov one more season because although he has not shown it, he has awesome talent.

If we're going to compete for the title next season we will definetely be needing some new players and to get rid of some current ones. The new-commers Hernandez from Mexico and Smalling wil be a great benefit for the club and I hope they'll get the chance to prove their worth. There are some rumours at the moment for the capture of Sneijder and this would be more than fantastic but I'm quite sceptical about it. I expect as much as one more new player, a winger I hope.
