Uber Cup Final

Uber Cup enter its semi final games today. The teams that qualify for the semi final are China, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan. China would face Indonesia while South Korea would try to over come the ninja from the rising sun nation. The games just finish a few hours ago.
As expected, China qualify for the final after beating Indonesia 3-0. China is the depending champion and the winner of the last six tournament. They were expected to lift the title again in this edition. China women players were to good for the rest of the world. They always produce the top quality players and some of them even need to migrate to other countries in order to get a chances to play at Olympic and Uber Cup.
Today, China beat Indonesia all in straight sets. Even though Indonesia has a very noise support from their supporter here, they can not break the Great Wall. Wang Yihan beat Maria Febe Kusumastuti easily with 21-7 and 21-12 score. China first pair, Jin Ma and Xiaoli Wang also did not have many resistance from Indonesia top pair, Greysia Polii and Meiliana Jauhari, and won with 21-17 and 21-13. The second single also not very much different. Xin Wang score 21-17 and 21-15 win over Indonesia second single, Adriyanti Firdasari. The last two match between the second double and the third single did not played because China already reach the inaccessible lead.
South Korea is the favorite to qualify from the other semi final and they did not bring down their fans. Japan is the surprise team here. They were qualify for the semi final for the first time for since made it in 2004 edition in Jakarta. They top Group C which is consist of Russia and Germany. They meet Denmark in the quarter final and create an upset by beating the champion of Europe 3-1.
In the semi final, South Korea won with 3-1 score. South Korea won their first two matches from Bae Seung Hee (single) and Lee Hyo Jung and Kim Min Jung (double). Both match won in straight set with 21-12 and 21-16 for the single and 21-19 and 21-10 for the double. Japan try to hold the South Korean celebration after won the third match in the second single. Ai Gato beat Bae Youn Joo in straight set 21-10 and 22-20. South Korea finally qualify for the final in the forth match when Lee Kyung Won and Ha Jung Eun manage to defeat Mizuki Fujii and Reika Kakiiwa, 21-14 and 21-18.
The final between China and South Korea would be played at Bukit Jalil Stadium on Saturday at 2:00 pm (Malaysia time).
