Yes I do believe in love for eternity. If you think love is just a feeling then of course it won’t last. Feelings change often. But I consider the “feeling” infatuation. LOVE is more than a feeling. It is a commitment, it is genuine care that grows over time. It is allowing the happiness of another person to affect your own happiness and living not only for yourself. In this context, love can last a lifetime. The commitment involved has to be a strong one though, because sometimes only the commitment – the decision not to give up on this person – will get people through the rough times. In its true context, love can last for eternity.

Well, since my ex is on his 4th, I would say not for him! But, I still have a *very* strong feeing for someone, even though he chose to go his own way. I do believe this will last until I die, & then who knows! Maybe thru eternity! Maybe i will find him again! I can only hope!

I believe that love can last for an eternity. If the love is there at all then it should last a lifetime. If it does not last then it wasnt meant to be and maybe the love really wasnt there at all. I believe that love is a gift and when people marry they should keep their promises to one another and God.

Well most people love their parents for a eternity so why can't we love a spouse we just have to work through the problems.

Hmmm ... I guess it happens for some people but I think it's quite rare. People change. There again I'm a cynic!

I believe that love can be forever. It takes a lot of work and forgiveness. I believe there can be time when partener don't like each other. I love my children very much but there are times I don't like them very much. You see ther is a differance sometime they just are'nt very likeable . the same goes for a spouce. You don't through you kids away so why would you your spouce You just have to work at learning to like them again.

yeah! Love is not based in emotion but it is a commitment, a covenant in the eyes of God who make is the author of marriage. The world is corrupting the mind of people today making physical and feelings as the major ingredients of marriage which should not be.

yes. once you have found the right person that God sent for you...it may take time to realize it but its all worth it.
