How many people actually splurge on clothing? I, for one, am not too proud to bargain shop. I don't ever buy name brand clothing unless I know for a fact it will last long enough to pay for itself, or if it is on sale and as cheap as the off brands. How many of you actually spend big money on high priced clothing? In today's economy, it would be smart to start being a little more down to earth. That is just my opinion.

I actually have designer items that I got for dirt cheap prices.I got Marc Jacobs,D&G,BCBG,Mango, and Guess items that I got for less.I got them from vintage and secondhand stores.I love bargain shopping because I get clothes that are nice.I also love the feeling of having a dress that I believe I will not run into someone down the street wearing the same dress as I have.I am proud of my finds.a lot of people actually compliment me with my finds.

Yes, I totally agree with this! finding something you know is worth so much more for a real bargain of a price is just so great! I have some amazing pieces by Christian Dior, Celine, YSL and many other amazing designers that I got for a really good price, and I think I even like those pieces a bit more than the ones I paid full price for, because I have such a good bargain story to go with them!

I do, from time to time, but I do buy a lot of the brand stuff vintage or second hand too. Some pieces are just of better quality, if you get them from a top of the line brand. (But a lot of the times, you do actually pay for the brand, too) I don't do it very often though, and if I do, I never get into debt over it, I save for a long time before buying anything designer.

I don't normally shop unless I need to. I'm just as simple as my clothes and I don't go for branded products. Obviously I look for a better quality piece, one which is durable and pleasing to the eyes. That would be more economical in the long run.

My shopping style is that I buy clothes that are reasonably priced. I go for the averagely priced where it's not too cheap looking and not too expensive. But sometimes I consider buying cheap clothes especially when the piece is really cute. I buy the more expensive brands when I know that the piece is timeless, like a good pair of jeans or a trusty pair of heels. I do this because I follow the change in fashion and I don't think that buying clothes for a season is practical.
