hi Bala.....nice question...for me things are something like this.....
I keep gaining weight even though I don't want it, and I don't loose weight no matter how hard I try to shed it....
Now you tell me this secret of yours....how do you shed weight easily within a week,
Please please tell me......what do you do....... Yeah kya jaado hai, mr. jadougar......lol

Well I can say that my metabolism responds to my command.The more I eat the more fat I become and the less I become thin.I know my limits and never gorge on food.If I feast one day I may fast for two days.The balancing act is the trick.And I never miss my morning walk for 30 minutes.

Well, is easy for me to gain weight ,and is also easy to loose weight as long as
I starve myself Ha Ha! I love eating ,but I hate to be fat too ,so I try my best
to get on a diet every time I gain weight. Is so difficult for me to control myself when I around sweets like for example cheese cake.

For years I could do that, but not any more. After middle age, most people have difficulty, some people during middle age, and some before. But sooner or later, it usually catches up with most people.

It's not a myth. I've slowed way down. Most people my age have. We're not going out dancing on Saturday nights any more, we're tired. I'm going through menopause where I'm not sleeping, etc. I don't care what dir journal says. Are they going through menopause?

Here's my story about losing and gaining weight. My BMI was perfect till I met with an accident which ordered me bed rest for a few months and that increased my weight by a few kilos which I tried to shed but to no avail. I then skipped my dinner and it worked. I am in fact a few kilos less than I should be and so I should start eating a bit more!

The secret is that I am lucky to have endowed with a perfect metabolic system. The less I eat I go down and the more I eat I put up weight. So I draw the line where it needs to be. I know a lot of people dieting very strictly and slogging in tread mills to find some extra grams added as a result.

Actually dieting too strictly is very dangerous Blaa because we put on weight the moment the regimen stops.It also harms the system. I have found thta staying away from sweets keeps my weight under control .THough people normally never feel that I am overweight I feel that I am tending to add a few pounds these days [wha t w ith middle age!but I am slo confidne thtta I will come down.

hi balasri oh you darned men you can just take it off and in only
a few days, we all envy you guys so much, care to s hare just what 'is your secret. I mean you can eat twice as much as me gain some pounds then wow its off in the next week. I bet your metabolism is set higher than ours. darn, green with envy, shame on me. no losing is really hard for me and oh not gaining weight is too darned easy. I just inhale some food and zap five more pounds which will not come off.

There are several differences between the fat storage and fat metabolism of men and women. First of all, women's body fact percentages tend to be greater than those of men.
Women usually store more of their fat in the hips and thighs. Men tend to store more of their fat in the abdominal region.
According to scientists, the fat in the abdominal zone is easier to metabolize than the fat in the gluteal-femoral area. Additionally, a greater amount of alpha receptors, which promote the storage of fat, are generally found in the hips and thighs of women. These two factors mean that men usually have faster fat metabolisms than women do, and are thus more successful at losing weight.

I would be envious too.^_^ Im not good in losing or gaining weight easily but Im good in maintaining the weight that I have. However, if that current weight either increases or decreases, it would be hard for me to get it back up or down to the original number. A pound or two is easy to gain or lose for me but if its five pounds or more then Im in trouble.

Well, remember that time of year when there's plenty of food?
Like last year, September is a regional festival here. October is my Mom's birthday and my relatives barangay festival. November would have All Saint's day and All Soul's day. Then there's the nonstop celebration in December of Christmas, January's New Year's and my birthday, February's 4 friend's birthday celebrations plus Valentine's Day. Then March's friends' graduation parties(including mine).

It is also easy for me because I have self-discipline. Whenever I notice my weight increasing I do vigorous workouts and watch my diet too. In a week time I am back into my normal weight. I have always been a health conscious person. I also stay active so that I can burn calories very easily.

I am envious too! I can gain weight quite easily and I can lose it but it is not as easy as gaining it, that’s for sure! Some people are lucky to blessed with a fast metabolism, mine is average I think and losing weight has always been a bit of a battle! At least I can do it eventually if I stick to my resolve and eat less and exercise.

Though eating less and exercising a lot is the solution it doesn't seem to work on everyone on equal level.Blessed are the ones who have that perfect metabolism.
It works very fine for me.I eat more I gain more pounds and the lesser I eat the thinner I become.The results are very fast.

In my case I put on weight very very easily.Last week my daughter was with me and we went out and had a good time and with all the extra rich food I have already put on 2 kilos and now to loose that weight I may have to work out for a whole month.I find it very difficult to loose weight...all the best and have a great weekend

Though it is s simple formula of burning out as much calories of input most of us find it hard.The body is so firm and doesn't give up so easily those fat deposits which are stored for emergency periods and drought situations.
Can't blame the body too.It is a little old fashioned engineered for the nomads and cave men who are in search for food always.
Poor thing it doesn't understand that nowadays we have plenty of food to gorge whenever we need.

Hi Bala, you are lucky to be able to do that! lol- My weight likes to fluctuate..for a while I can be skinny and fit in really small clothes then all of a sudden I put on weight and have to get clothes a bit bigger that fit me.;.it is a never ending battle, yet at the moment it seems my wight is staying at a stable average weight....LoLo

i am also one person that envious of other people like you that can easily gain weight. i long been longing to gain weight, even a little. but for many years, i have maintain my bantam weight which i wish to get heavier so i can catch up with my wife.
