Can you still praise and worship God in times of difficulty?

During times of trouble, I know that everything happened for a reason. God must have a plan why these and that happened. A painful event about ten years ago made me realized that God will never forsake you nor abandon you. Just keep your faith, trust Him and everything will be alright. Thank God for that moment, for that event, because in the near or far future, you will understand why, and realized that He really has the best plan for us.

as for me i worship and talk to god more when im in trouble as i know his the only way that can help me with the help of course with my family and friends, like what happened to me now, im pregnant, i dont have job, the guy left me, but i still manage to pay my prenatal check up, prenatal vitamins even milk and i was also able to buy baby's things and clothes and thats because of internet. as maybe its god's one way of helping me. my wallet was never been empty as every time i need something to buy i can still find way to get money out of my own. i know god is laways there and he knows what we really needs all we need is gime him time and be patience.

I think sometimes God has to allow trouble to come to us to bring us back to Him. When things are going great I can have a tendency to not pray or seek God as much. Yet when things are bad I run to Him because He is my hiding place, my shelter in the time of storm. A lot of folks who have riches and material possessions may think they don't need God. How wrong they are. A disaster and they would be on their knees. I think we all need to remember to thank God in the good times.

Yes, that is so true. Man has a tendency to neglect and forget about God when they are so happy and have everything. And when troubles come we call upon our God, because we know only God can solve our problems. But we should have a revelation on how we so much need God so that daily we seek and need Him even if everything is perfect.

Hi kharlav, i will always praise the god and pray in my difficulties too. If i remember him and pray i feel free from the that pain. In difficulties and troubles i pray more and my attachment to him will be more. Because he is the only one who can support me in all the accessions. God bless you.

That is so true. Only God can solve our problems, in the right way. We may try to solve our problems, but it has a tendency to fail or cause even bigger problems. I remember this quote that I have heard from a prophet: "good ideas are not God's idea, but God's idea are good ideas". It helped me listen to God's idea more than my own idea (specially in solving problems).
Yes, the more we seek and ask for help, the more He gets closer to us and the more we know what kind of God He is.

As CATHOLICS like me yes...no matter what other religions may say...i respect them but its like a shoulder to lean on where you cant find someone to cry on and youre alone and helpless.And somewhat it gives you a possitive thoughts that someday not all downs but someday you will rise up and face another day to start on and survived.

Isn't it a common practice these days that we only call for God's help when we are in times of distress and not when we are happy. We should thank God at all times for whatever He has bestowed upon us, good or bad. Life is a test, and God is the examiner.

Yes! I so agree with you. Life is indeed a test which would tell our final future. God is just amazing, with or without us, that He deserves to be praised and worshiped all the time. Though at times we may feel sad/depressed, but at that time He is still marvelous and amazing.

Yes, I do praise God in the bad times as well as good. It is very important to give God the glory in everything. I know that sounds weird to praise Him in bad times as well as good, but I find it necessary to do so. I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for God. He is my everything. I find that when I praise Him even when things are bad, then, really things don't seem so bad after all. I think we all have a tendency to only praise God when things are going good, and forget about the bad times, but we have to remember that He is with us in good as well as bad. Yes, thats right rosekiss. When we seek Him even more in times of trouble, the problems becomes not that bad after all. In times of trouble, He really wants to help us but He is just waiting for us to call upon Him. And when we call upon Him and ask for His help, He willingly helps us and as we pray problems become smaller and smaller and Him bigger and bigger.

whether bad times or good time i always praise God, especially in those bad time. i never quit in praying Him because in times of trials and troubles He is the one i can lean on. i always keep His promises that"come to me who are heavenly leaden and i will give you rest." I will never leave you nor forsake you"..His promise endureth forever!

Hello kharlav! yes i still praise God in times of difficulty because I know He's there for me all the times of my life, more when im in difficult situation even though that its hard for others to believe that.
I simply believe and keep this in my mind that, those who thanked GOD even in trials turn burden into blessings so just keep your faith close to your heart and God shall provide the comfort you need.
