unconditional love

Unconditional love can be viewed positively or negatively. Positive in a relationship like a love of a mother to her child or a brother to his sister, but negative in a bf-gf relationship or a love between husband and wife. Unconditional love literally means loving without condition or expecting nothing in return. In other words, it is loving unselfishly. I say that unconditional love can be taken negatively in a relationship between lovers because in truth and reality, there has to be mutual love between the two. It is not enough that only one will be loving the other or vice versa or we sometime call it one-way love. It is always mutual love, but not unconditional. However, love in unconditional in certain degrees. As you mentioned, it is lasting and more real. Once a person unconditionally love another is a big sacrifice.
