Seeds are those people who have the complete file you're trying to download and are actively sharing , the information to make your download quicker. Peers are those people who are downloading it. If you want a fast download , ensure that the torrent you're trying to download has lots of seeds.
Try piratebay.org
Honestly it's the best torrent site but only download from those who have the purple/green skull, so that you don't get atked by internet baddies lol

FYI. Some hard to find torrents are hosted at Demonoid. While recent TV shows are downloadable at eztv.it immediately after they finish airing.
Anyway, the higher number of seeds usually mean a faster download because that's the number of people uploading the files. But sometimes one seed with a fast connection may serve several downloaders. Lots of leechers or peers can also lead to a faster download assuming they don't put a cap on their upload speeds.

hi GENESH, seeds are something that are finish downloading. While peers are users who are not finished downloading that particular file. When you are downloading that particular file you are considered as a peer. if you have an account of a private tracker it would be the best if you keep your seeds up. I hope you understand what I am saying hope this works for you.... happy downloading....

utorrent is a peer to peer program, it means that the file is divided in small parts that you can download not only from one place but from many people that have the same file.
the seeds are the people who have the whole file, and are only distributing the file
the peers are people that only have some parts of the file and are recopilating "as you" the other parts to get the whole package
