I personally stay in contact through private messages. I used to have comments activated on my profile...but many members wrote and told me they couldn't leave messages, so I removed it.

I actually accept anyone who adds me in their friend's list here on mylot because unlike facebook, my private information are not splashed around my profile page just for anyone to see so I would not mind if someone who adds me here in mylot are not that close to me. I also add people who tag my response as the best response. It is my way of thanking them for doing that.

cip 116 I rarely delete anyone unless they have not b een active on lot for a very long tie,I do not know about how fashionable a long list is, I have a long list solely because five or six newbies come to me most days asking to be accepted and I have not had the heart to turn many down. Why are you concerned about large lists of friends, a lot of my friends who have been here as I have for three years also have large lists, they came to me and asked,I did not go to them. What am I supposed to do, turn a lot of people down just because my list is large, then you wou ld call me a meanie for sure.I do not understand what you mean about two or three comments from them? Who is the them? Let them delete me if they wish, I have lots of real friends here and that is enough for me.

I always accept friends request, and sometimes I do friendship request too.
Usually I don't delete friends, but I don't care if someone will delete me from the friend list.
When I'm active on mylot, I try to answer the discussion of my friends before, then the one of my interests. But I know that most of the persons in the friend list don't do that, so I don't care too much. The only thing I really care about the friends, is that usually I rate their response/comments, in any discussion I find them. Wishing their stars grows

For me sweetie, i accept friends and give everyone a fair chance. We normally delete if they are absent for more than three months. But, it is not always easy to respond to every friends discussion, as we do not always have an answer. And to say, sorry i don't know sounds very rude. TATA

Some members are making a friend request to every new member to send them a notification of their discussions and try to get a large audience. I always accept a friend request and all my notifications are on. When somebody makes a friend request, I try to give a response two or three times to his/her discussions. If I get no comment from him/her, I stop to post. In the other side, I do a friend request only when I have read many interesting discussions or comments from a member, as I want to be able to follow his/her discussions. I have not many friends and I have not deleted any for the moment. I have been deleted by a member who asked first a friend request : I don't know why (we never exchanged a PM and I saw that later), and I am not mad for that .

Hi Cip,
I have a long list of friends and I don’t get an idea if anybody deletes me except by the familiar friends. I won’t get mad if I came to know that somebody deleted me but definitely it may hurt me. In mylot people are deleting friends when there is hibernation by members otherwise all are happy to have their precious friends in list.

Friends is a natural and obvious process but the world where we live has new beliefs including extreme capitalist ideas that we are not anymore humans but users opportunities, losing a friend well if the person wants to ged rid of you it is firstly their loss as in life we always need someone sincere it has more value than money experience says so...
