I know you may not believe it but it really was my childhood ambition! I was very naughty when I was young so My father often beat me when I did the wrong things. Just from then I found that it was very great to become a father and give your child a lesson, so I came up with this ambition. ^_^
But as I grow up , I find it is a little troublesome to have my own child ……

My childhood ambition was to also become a doctor, Neonatologist to be exact. As of now I am in the non profit field at a Mental Health Facility working as a discharge planner. I really enjoy what I am doing. I am still contemplating going back to school to become a Physician Assistant but as of May 2009 I was tired of the tradition setting. I figured i would pursue my masters in Psychology online for the next 1.5yr and then look into going back into the tradition setting and ten pursuing becoming a Physician Assistant. Right now I feel at 23yo I'm still exploring and trying to find my nitch in my career. It's hard... but I wont give up!

We're on the same boat!!! When I was a child I dreamed to be a Doctor, or Nurse or Medical TEchnician or anything under the filed of Medicine. But sad to say, my aunties, who sent me to school, cannot afford the expenses to be incurred in that line of profession. So what happened was, they sent me to Polytechnic University of the Philippines where I took/finished Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting.
Now I am the same housewife like you, the only difference is that I don't have a husband, lol.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a large animal veternarian. I wanted to take care of horses and cows. But that dream came crashing down when the vet that took care of our animals said that there were so many people in tha field that there were not enough positions for them and it would be a shame to spend all of that money going to school not to have a job. The scary part of it is that if I had gone through with veterarian school I would have had to have had the same number of hours that it takes to be a doctor.

I always thought I was going to have a successful lawn mowing business of all things. At least that was the one that stuck out in my mind the most. I made out fake "contact information" and everything in fact. I think that obsession lasted for a few weeks but still I had big plans. Plans that seemed rather absurd in hindsight the more that I think about it but still they were plans.
Although to be fair, I think my childhood ambitions changed frequently when I was young. I saw something that was the new cool thing at least for me. Things that I could not really see myself doing. I guess when we were children, anything seems possible. When we get older, reality sets in and there are a lot of dreams that get a cold dose of reality.
