Hello Folks!! I am currently having accounts in both facebook and twitter. but i want to know which is better. Some say on regular advancements part, Twitter has done enoromous user firndly updates and facebook hasn't but i feel facebook is very user friendly and a very good platform for marketing. It helps in getting good traffic if you own a blog or website. What do you feel? Does facebook encourage marketing and drive traffic to your blog? Tried it? or twitter helps you do that?

Twitter and Facebook cater to different markets. Twitter is more useful for service providers like webmasters or blog publishers while Facebook is more useful for end-users.
In my opinion, Twitter can have a lot more impact if more publishers learn to exploit it as a component or part of their web services. So, in terms of growth potential, Twitter should be bigger than Facebook.
Of course, end-users will think otherwise.

I use both and I think they have different qualities. I would be hard-pressed to choose between the two. In my life, Facebook is for socializing and Twitter is for announcing my new blogs and other work.

I don't think they can really be compared. Facebook is great to share photos and be in touch with friends and family. Twitter is more of a marketing tool for me. I am not really on twitter much apart from to post links to my articles.

I don't have anything to bring market to as my accounts for both sites are only for my own personal use. I am active in both sites but I have more friends/connections in Facebook. I just do Twitter to post short status which can probably annoy my FB friends if I post it there one after the other. I also use Twitter to stalk (LOL) or follow celebrities. You cannot play games on Twitter--there are obviously more things that you can do in Facebook than on Twitter. But one is just as user-friendly as the other.
