Hi guys, i got an experience today....he is my lecturer in college. he is sarcastic bast*rd... he tried to make fun of me and i gave it back..i respond very quickly and give them back i anyone try to show their attitude to me. is this wrong ? is this bad habit? when it comes to responding , i dont care who is opposite to me. some times my lecturers stand in that position. My friends suggested me to be diplomatic i tried many times but. ill burst out all of sudden if i feel i am scape goat there. Please give me suggestions. all suggestions are welcome.

Hey,
Don't use such words against one who gives you knowledge. This is really bad..
If you are so short tempered find some measures to keep it under control..like counting numbers, praying to God...
If you can't find any such possible solutions,Please visit a clinical psychologist.
He will you proper advice and some medications to control your bad temper.
Finally Be nice to everyone there is only one life kiran!!!

buddy problem is not so severe to attend a doctor nor i am a mentally retarded...and dont imagine he is a lecturer of 40 50 years .. he is just a year or 2 older than me. he just completed his engineering course and joined as lecturer and i am in my final year so no gap... and you know what his point is to draw attention of class girls by making some sarcastic jokes in class. do you bear that. if you do so .. ill call you gandhi...
yeah i know short temper always does bad things to one. thanks for your advice.

ok...ok..you didn't mention about the age barrier..
His behavior is too bad and he don't deserve to be a lecturer.
But let me tell you It takes some hard work to become an Engineer na?
clearing out all the papers. You can understand it since you are going through it now.
Give respect to his degree not his age,I'm not arguing..
Finally don't lend your ears to such sarcastic jokes..
Laugh it off!!
About girls, they are your classmates not the lecturer's they knew you better..so have a proper understanding with them.
Now you will never feel ashamed..
Sorry,I didn't actually mean you to be mentally retarded
I just told you about psychologist and not a psychiatrist, who can give you better suggestions than myLotters

Sometimes it is a good thing to be arrogant. you are taken less advantage of. you can usually get your point acrosas without being misunderstood.

thats right point.but problem is some times we get a bad impression which we cant avoid.and because of what.there are many side effects. if we want marks we hwve to bear or give him back, i think there is a better way to explain every thing i am lacking in that.

I also can't stand it if the other person is arrogant. But there is one great problem in your current situation, some lecturers can be vindictive and harm you. This situation can arise when the professor can make an assessment on you.My cousin had this difficulty and she was made to sit for an extra exam because of a perceived sleight by her lecturer. So i advise diplomacy in such cases.

When you feel that you are only defending yourself or just giving the other person a taste of his own medicine then go ahead...I am constantly surrounded by arrogant, conceited, and insultive people (?)LOL. At first I tried to convince myself that it was not meant or they were just talking and have no ides they are insulting me anymore, but when I realized that thats just how they were brought up and that's their normal attitude then I thought I'd fight back and let them feel how it feels to be insulted... Just reminded them that they are not perfect and they also have imperfections that I can point out....
