Isn't it wonderful how you get to interact with lots of people in mylot? People from different races, different people, different countries...
I've met wonderful friends here although not personally but in discussions. What saddens me is that some of them are from the other side of the world. What I mean is those that are at opposite time zone could not have more time to spend with me on a discussion unless they stay awake at night on their place while it's daytime on mine or the other way around.
We could leave responses on each others discussion but will likely receive a response on the next day.. I just wish that those that I love to discuss with are at the same time zone like mine...

Daytime and night time and everything in between.I usually see more of you at night, but here you are in my daytime. I am just on briefly, while I have some battery life, because I am on a trip and using my laptop for a change. We are all very fortunate.

My time in mylotting is flexible. I come in at any hours of the day or night. But mylot has been my constant companion when I have insomniac attack. It is a great site for people who are lonely or for people who have insomnia and needs someone to communicate as mylot is on for 24/7.

really? hehe time & distance don't really matters when it comes to friendship and when you really enjoy the conversation you have with your friend, right? hehe
and even if you have the same time zone with a friend here, you still have different things to do offline and so its sometimes difficult to find them online on the same time that we are online. hehe
i think kun for you...its as long as comments are landing on my inbox. conversation will go on & on & on! but if it don't reach your inbox, that's the end of the conversation...hehe

That's right, if we leave a response even at the time they are offline, it means that you are there that read their comment or response and did not waste their time writing it even if it short.
Ckyera, sometimes if I want more of the discussion then I tend to tease them to say more than say goodbye to the discussion.

Yes, it's definitely interesting to make friends. Also to check out what others have in mind about their thoughts, opinions and such. They make it known, wanting to seek advice or give..it's all good. There are lots of online personalities here whom I respect and adore, and have become fast friends with.

Yeah, I've made lots of friend already too, including you of course.
These friends could share some knowledge on several things while others are there to irritate, lol. I've seen sparks of fights lately but it's how things work now, not everyone really agrees on all things.

Is it really wonderful to meet different people from different country. Itis magical what Mylot can give to us because we can build friendship. I am happy to become part of Mylot and be friends with different races. But life is always balance, even we meet nice people here, we can still meet enemies. Me, I continue to be friendly to those friendly people and I do not care the other people that throwing their trash on other people. Hope Mylot can be a wonderful place to be.

and this is one great benefit that mylot has for us, to be able to communicate and interact with people around the world. you can just leave your discussion for a night and when you go back mylotting the following day, you will see people commenting, from different places. what's more, we are able to meet great people who in turn are ANGELS brought in to our lives.

Don't change it, basqui. I like Tuba. Sounds hidden but strong. Baguio is very known and not as exciting anymore. Are you tribal? Like Ibaloi?

For me, mylot has fulfilled a need that I didn't know existed in my life before I found this place several months ago. I've made a lot of friends on here that I most likely won't have the opportunity to ever meet in person. However, I feel that I really know most of them because they share so much about who they really are in the discussions that they start. This is a beautiful thing. In addition to that, there is always someone that I can talk to throughout the day and that is really a lot of fun for me.

I love being able to see other's opinions and learn from their stories or learn about their cultures. I think mylot is fun because of the fact that so many people around the world can use it. The time thing is just something we have to get used to but I don't think it gets in the way of learning about others and having a conversation with others. I think it just means we might be waiting a little longer than usual for a response.

We don't hold the time of our mylot friends so maybe they have other things to attend to so they are not here with us always but we enjoy if they get back to responses even if not on the time or day you expect them. What's important is that they get back to connect with us.

Hi basqui, in this very advance technology, nothing is impossible. One can get connected right away in another world as fast as seconds or minutes. For me timezone doesn't matter, although if you really want to get connected with their time and vice versa you have to work overtime with your pc.

You are right basqui, it is wonderful. I've learned so much about other countries. And I've met some extremely kind people. I've thought about time zones as well. I don't know what time it is overseas, but I'm up early here and it is almost 5am. But usually I get responses quickly, because I'm in America and a lot of people I know from mylot are in the U.S. or Canada, so it is easier to get a fast response from them. But I always read every response I get, and I read every discussion I get, so no one on my friend list has to worry about me passing by their discussion. But it would be nice to speak to others in "real time" on mylot.

Yeah, I enjoy much how we discuss in real time and the discussion keeps going with others. Those hot discussions are really enjoyable. Sometimes those that are not discussed in real time are not good since we sometimes forget what we have to say next because of the time that have passed.

Hi Basqui! It is indeed to wonderful that we come to interact with many different people here on Mylot. But mostly what I am happy of, is, there are a lot of Filipinos now here. I joined Mylot four years ago. I was active during my first year. But it was kind of difficult because most of our countrymen, didn't stayed much here. We knew who were active filipino posters. Maybe because back then, it was not that easy to get our payments. And paypal was not yet opened for withdrawal in our country. We had to go by E-gold. But it got a law suit and a case etc. And came moneybookers, which I wasn't able to use actually. And now paypal. And I am so happy to see fellow countrymen here. I hope they would stay and help in making the Mylot community very productive and happy.
I have made many good friends here. But sadly, I haven't seen most of them posting here now. But friendship builded here are incredible. Maybe because, you come to know the person, because of the constant sharing of informations we have here. And that's great. And even if we don't share the same time zone. You're always happy that your Mylot friends haven't forgot you. And admist the time gone, it always seems like you have never left or logged out of Mylot. (^^,)

YEah, when I first came here, what I first asked was how many Filipinos are members and found the big number and was amazed that Philippines is the third Country to have big population in mylot and that didn't even include those who disclosed their locations and those that are in other countries too.
I've met wonderful people in discussions and they are still in here. I've just been here for three months.
Paypal is more used in our country and we are thankful for the admin to have the payment processor better. But I wished they pay through Liberty Reserve too, I want to build up my funds there.

I have come across the same problem. People to whom I wanted to converse or know their opinion of, are not online at the same time of day I am or are only online for a few minutes because they are getting ready for bed while I am just starting the day, or vice versa. It is still great that we met but I do wish their was more time for us to converse.

Lol, what if there were no nights or day? Uhm, we are living in reality and what I've asked in the first sentence is not possible at all, our world is revolving and rotating nonstop so let's keep up with what time we have and enjoy the fun of being with friends here in mylot.

Hi basqui! Don't worry about the difference in time zones! I
have been here for almost three years now and it hasn't stopped
me from making the most wonderful friends all over the world,
in probably every time zone there is! I happen to be up very
until the early morning hours when my friends on the other side
of the globe are starting their day so I get to "talk" to them
in their morning hours when I should really be sleeping!lol
That is the great thing about mylot! Anytime of the day or night
there is always someone here to talk to! And believe me I should
know and so do my friends! I have a friend in England who calls
me sometimes at 2:30AM my time, 8:30AM her time! She is waking
up and I am still up from the day before and not having gone
to bed yet! Works out great! And we met right here on mylot!

That's really wonderful! I bet you don't get that much conversations from your offline friends right? I can't say enough to thank all my friends in here who helped a lot in earning my cents everyday, without them you won't get to have discussions to respond to.

Don't be sad about the time zone Basqui, just be glad that you can interact with this wonderful people. Can you imagine how wonderful and magical that we get to interact and joke around with people from different parts of the world and not let the time zone difference hinder us? I'm just glad and satisfied. I shall not want more and I would like to say thank you to all those wonderful people that I get to interact with

Basqui, I understand your time bound problem for interacting with mylotters and I appreciate it very much. Now you can understand yourself the vast expanse of Internet facility, nevertheless, the time factor.
My son is settled in Canada and our family is in India. We know the time difference between the two zones and accordingly we meet each other through Skype. For example, Saturday evening 9 PM in Canada would be Sunday morning 7AM in India, Sunday morning 11AM in Canada would 9PM in India. So, we don't face any problem and we skype through a video chat ( I enjoy meeting my grandson in it).
In your case, I would suggest you post your time of availability in particular so that the responder can work out his time zone and will be able to interact effectively. I believe even God cannot grant your wish of all humans living in the same time zone!!!!
