Do you think this hair coloring would be nice?

I customer came into my store several months ago she had a really cute dye job. I really would like something similar but I have long wavy hair so I dunno what the best way to go would be but I think this would be something I could get away with for a touch of color w/o going full montey. The style in the 8th row in the middle (short brown hair w/ color at the bangs)... though I know it'll look different on me with long hair though WDYT? http://www.hairdyegallery.co.uk/redpage10.html

those are really pretty too! I dunno that a full head of color is what I'd want not at my age

That's why I'm thinking more like highlights rather than a whole head full! Though some of that people on that site have no business wearing anything that bold some are quite frightful looking others look wonderful. What can I say I want to live the teen years my Mom wouldn't let me live...

ohno not on me, I am already very pale and a vivid red hair job would make me look like Elvira. I would love a silver hair job or a white blonde hair color but that deep red on me, I would look like a ghost with mercurochrome in my hair. Some younger women who are more pinkish
in their complexions would probably look terrific in those wild reds.

I can't wait for my hair to go completely silver. In my family we don't have grey, our hair turns silver. Right now it's only turning in the front but the rest of it is brown.

H - I'm fairly pale myself so yeah a full head of color would be too much to me.
D - your so cute! So you have your own silver highlights now huh? I'm too young to be cool with that *LOL* Though my Aunt was trying to tell me that I have alot more gray then her! I'm like no don't think so I'm 33yrs younger TYVM! Granted she doesn't have a heaping amount but here hair is persay peppered with grey all lover though she still had a medium brown color. I have some but not to that degree yet. Though I dunno who's head of hair I'll have my Mom or Dads? My half sisters one is grey with the white around her face, the other is nearly all white.... and they are still in their 50's EEK!

hair will loose its suppleness and brightness and see that you do not have any allergies.one of my friend had this problem and he lost his life.

I've never heard of anyone having such a sever allergy to hair dye as you mentioned. I'm sorry to hear that.
My hair isn't bright w/o dying it normally anyway.

It looks like one of those mixed snowcones they used to sell at the state fair!
What's wrong with your hair? I think it's a very nice color. If you're just looking for something different, get some of the wash-out spray color. I've always like burgundy red, you'd look good in that.

I haven't been to a hairdresser since my oldest was 6 weeks old. I was also dyed cherry coke/burgundy when I wanted Auburn Red and I never went back.
My hair color is just whatever dye I found on clearance the other year that I still have left. The dyes I've used don't really cover much barely the grays just turns them a lt brown. Perhaps it's the brand? maybe I need a professional dye? I just thought if I get my hair cut (by someone other than myself) one day I'd love to get a fun color in highlights done. I know how to highlight my own hair and that's the only home product that seems to work well with my hair. I dunno if I do my own highlights again and I can just do the kool-aid thing wich will pretty much wash out after a few washes or look slightly the color.

It looks awesome on the example that you've shared with us. However, much like you, I don't know how it would look on someone that has long hair. I know that if we were talking about me, more than likely I wouldn't personally go there, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you are still considering it, then I think I would take the picture with me the next time that I was going to get my hair done and I would ask the beautician how she thought it would look on me. And, if you do get it done, do be sure to share a picture with us.

I have not gotten it done. I am too cheap I found a cheap kit online that Sally's carry's BUT they only show having a pink and I don't want pink. So I just did blond highlights from a kit I bought a couple years ago (I stock piled them cause I found dyes & kits @ wal-mart for anywhere between .75-$3 a box!!) that works really well. I'm thinking I may look into the kool-aid method it's much cheaper & it washes out.

oh,not on me.maybe that suits some teenagers who are pretty and vivacious.but it is ominous to have red hair in my village.very few people make their hair red although people let their hair change color very often.

I'm not talking a full head of hair but just highlights in something fun. What can I say I have the heart of a teenager ;0)

Coloring at home can be tricky, but I like to do it because it is so expensive to do it at a salon. You should read this article before you do it: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2993390/how_to_have_beautiful_hair_every_day.html?cat=69
This is an article I wrote and I think there may be a few coloring tips in there and it should help your hair to be shinier and more supple if you do decide to color. Good luck!

I think that looks sort of teenager-ish if you ask me.. but I guess it all depends on your look.
I will occasionally dye my hair burgandy, my husband finds it extremely attractive.. so much so that it's really hard to restrain him for the first few days after I color it. It works well on me. Normally I'm a very dark brown.
Usually I'll just go a lighter brown, and sometimes throw in some blonde highlights. I always do it at home to save money.

True. I've always said I will have my own lil midlife crisis, wanting to relive the teen years I didn't really have. I lile those goth/punk/skater looks though it's for someone probably 10yrs + younger and w/o a care in the world.
I cleared it with work if I want to do it but they'd probably frown on the full head but some highlights in colors would be ok. Afterall I figure they still hire folks with piercings (I had my nose at the time before I got a keloid and let it close up) what's a lil color w/o going to nuts.
